Trade isn’t just about moving goods.

It’s about moving economies, communities, and opportunity.

Last week, I had the honor of speaking at the inaugural @portlaredo Global Trade Summit alongside leaders from across North America and around the world. With more than 600 attendees, the conversations weren’t just about logistics. They were about the future of global commerce and how we build stronger, more resilient supply chains together.

What makes this moment especially meaningful is that Port Laredo has been a client of Amplify Global Impact. To see that relationship evolve from strategic partnership to being invited back as a featured speaker is a reminder that the best work doesn’t end with a contract. It grows into lasting collaboration and shared impact.

Every day, roughly one in four household goods used in America moves through Port Laredo. That makes it the largest inland port in the Americas and one of the most important economic gateways on the continent. The decisions being made there shape businesses, families, and communities across the United States.

I’m incredibly grateful to have contributed to these conversations and proud that @amplifyglobalimpact is helping organizations tackle the challenges that define our future.

This is what happens when strategy turns into action, relationships turn into trust, and ideas turn into impact.

Trade doesn’t just move products. It moves people, communities, and opportunity.

Grateful to have joined leaders from across North America today at the Port Laredo Global Trade Summit to talk about the future of our supply chains, innovation, and what it takes to build a stronger, more connected economy.

One thing became clear. The future belongs to the leaders who are willing to think beyond borders and build partnerships that create opportunity for everyone.

Honored to be part of the conversation. Even more excited for what’s next. taken in Laredo, Texas by @jevinhodge

The future of North American trade isn’t being decided in boardrooms alone. It’s being built at ports like @portlaredo.

Excited to be heading to the inaugural Port Laredo Global Trade Summit, where I’ll have the honor of moderating a conversation on the future of North America’s multimodal trade network alongside leaders shaping the next era of commerce.

As North America’s largest inland port, Port Laredo is far more than a border crossing. It is one of the most important trade gateways in the Americas, connecting supply chains, strengthening economic resilience, and moving the goods that power our everyday lives.

It’s especially meaningful to return because Port Laredo was once a client of mine. Watching this summit come to life is a reminder that great partnerships can grow into lasting impact.

At @amplifyglobalimpact, we believe the future belongs to those who connect people, ideas, and opportunity. I look forward to exploring how innovation, infrastructure, and collaboration across air, rail, road, and sea will shape the next generation of global trade.

BREAKING: After years of intense negotiations, I’m proud to announce that I’ve officially taken my talents to the @piratasbogota as their new starting small forward. 🏀😂

Sources close to the team tell me my combination of leadership, international relations, and absolutely average basketball skills made me impossible to pass up. Contract details remain undisclosed, but let’s just say LeBron should probably be paying attention.

In all seriousness, it is an incredible honor to work alongside the Bogotá Piratas, the longest running and most historic professional basketball team in Colombia.

This season, under the leadership of @josetapiasp the Piratas fought their way to the semifinals, finishing just one game away from the Colombian professional basketball finals. Their success on the court reflects more than wins and losses. It reflects over three decades of excellence, resilience, community impact, and a commitment to growing the game of basketball throughout Colombia.

Through @amplifyglobalimpact, we are proud to help tell their story on the global stage, identify strategic partnerships, build international relationships, and create new opportunities for growth both in Colombia and around the world.

Sports have a unique ability to transcend borders, unite communities, create opportunity, and inspire the next generation. That is exactly why this partnership is so meaningful. This work extends far beyond basketball. It is about community impact, youth development, global engagement, and building bridges between people, organizations, and countries.

Grateful to the entire Piratas family for the warm welcome and excited for what lies ahead. The future is bright, and we’re just getting started.

¡Vamos Piratas!

What if your next big opportunity wasn’t in your city… but in another country? 🌎

Today in Bogotá, I was reminded that some of the most powerful conversations happen when leaders from different countries sit down and ask one simple question:

How can we better prepare the next generation to lead in a global world?

I had the privilege of catching up with my friend Andres Mauricio Castro, Dean of the Faculty of Social, Human and Business Sciences at Universidad Piloto de Colombia @unipiloto.

What made this conversation even more special is that we’re both members of the @global_chamber family. Andres serves on the Global Chamber Advisory Board in Bogotá, while I serve on the Advisory Board in Phoenix. Different cities. Different countries. Shared vision.

We spent time discussing how universities can expand global engagement opportunities for students, connect classrooms to real-world leaders, and expose future professionals to perspectives that extend far beyond their local communities.

At Amplify Global Impact Group, these conversations are at the heart of what we do.

We believe talent exists everywhere, but access to networks, opportunities, and global perspectives is not always evenly distributed.

That’s why we work with universities, businesses, nonprofits, and government leaders around the world to build meaningful partnerships, facilitate international exchanges, lead executive delegations, and create opportunities that connect people across borders.

One of the ideas that excites me most is the opportunity to bring future delegations of business leaders, elected officials, entrepreneurs, and decision makers to Bogotá to learn directly from institutions like Universidad Piloto and the incredible leaders shaping Colombia’s future.

Because the future of education is global.

The future of business is global.

And the future belongs to those who know how to build bridges.

The world feels a lot smaller when you realize your next collaborator, investor, client, mentor, or friend may be sitting on the other side of the globe.

🌍 What is one country you would like to build stronger professional relationships in and why? taken in Bogotá, Colombia by @jevinhodge

Honored and deeply grateful to share that I’ve been invited to serve as a featured speaker at RESONANCE: The National Black Empowerment Council’s 5th Anniversary Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa this May. 🌍 @thenbecorg

To be recognized and invited into a global convening of leaders across government, business, and civil society is something I do not take lightly.

This work has always been bigger than titles or positions for me. It has always been about impact. About creating opportunity. About building stronger communities, empowering young people, and helping connect local action to global change.

The opportunity to join leaders from around the world to discuss Leadership Development & Youth Empowerment is especially meaningful because I believe deeply that investing in people, particularly the next generation, is one of the most important things we can do to shape the future.

I’m incredibly thankful to the National Black Empowerment Council for the invitation and for the opportunity to contribute to conversations centered on economic development, international partnership, and the future of global Black leadership.

From Phoenix to Johannesburg, this moment is a reminder that authentic community work, relationship building, and purpose driven leadership can create impact far beyond what we sometimes imagine.

Excited for the conversations ahead and grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey. South Africa, see you soon. 🇿🇦 taken in Tempe, Arizona by @jevinhodge

🚨 Most founders don’t fail because of bad ideas. ‼️

They fail because they’re one connection away. 💡

One investor.
One introduction.
One room they were never invited into.

That’s the gap. And that’s what we’re building at @amplifyglobalimpact.

This week, we partnered with Sustainable Impact Capital (SIC), the largest and most active Taiwanese angel investor network, and NATEA (North America Taiwanese Engineering & Science Association), a global community of engineers, founders, and innovators.

Together, we created real access.

Not another conversation.
Real access to capital.
Real access to global investors.

We brought founders and investors into the same room and focused on one thing. Opportunity.

Because talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.

At Amplify, we connect communities, capital, and ideas to make sure the right people find each other.

Because one connection can change everything.

This is just the beginning.

If you’re building, stay close.
If you’re investing, lean in.

We’re building bridges.

Stop scrolling.

Because in a world that feels divided, I just witnessed what it looks like when people choose connection anyway.

Serving as Chairman of the Board for the @festival_diaspora has been one of the greatest honors.

In Puerto Rico, we brought together leaders from across the country and 35 nations throughout the Americas.

Different perspectives. One shared purpose.

To create.
To collaborate.
To connect.

And that matters right now.

Because despite everything we’re seeing, this is not the moment to pull back.

It is the moment to double down.

On relationships.
On community.
On building across borders.

Moments like this remind us that the future of impact is built through relationships that cross borders, industries, and communities.

Grateful for the experience. Inspired by what’s possible.

And we’re just getting started.

🌍 Diplomacy is not just ceremony. It is strategy.

Last night at the 35th @diplomaticcorpsaz Annual Ambassadors Ball at the Arizona Biltmore, the world came to Phoenix.

Under the theme A Knight in Kazakhstan, we celebrated courage, culture, and global partnership alongside ambassadors, consuls general, and business leaders. Proceeds will support scholarships at ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management, investing in the next generation of global leadership.

At @amplifyglobalimpact, this is the work. We build bridges. We connect governments, businesses, and institutions. We operate at the intersection of diplomacy, economic development, and global partnerships because the future belongs to regions that understand how to collaborate across borders.

The future belongs to those who collaborate across borders.

And Arizona is showing up. by @jevinhodge

Arizona is not watching the semiconductor revolution.
We are building it.

Tomorrow, I have the incredible honor of speaking at the 5th Annual @global_chamber Semiconductor Summit at Thunderbird in downtown Phoenix, and I could not be more excited to be part of this moment.

This is where global meets local.

From U.S. Senator Mark Kelly and Mayor Kate Gallego to international leaders connected to TSMC, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Vietnam, and beyond, this summit brings together the people shaping the future of the global semiconductor supply chain.

And the theme says it all: Connecting into the Global Supply Chain.

Semiconductors power AI.
They power national security.
They power aerospace, healthcare, automotive, and the future of advanced manufacturing.
They power Arizona’s next economic chapter.

But here is the real question.

Will our businesses, our workforce, and our communities be connected to that growth?

At @amplifyglobalimpact , this is exactly where we live. At the intersection of public affairs, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and impact strategy. We help bridge sectors. We help align policy with opportunity. We help ensure growth is intentional and sustainable.

This summit is not just about industry updates. It is about access.
It is about relationships.
It is about positioning Arizona as a serious global hub.
It is about making sure Phoenix and the greater region are plugged directly into opportunity across the country and across the world.

I am honored to represent Amplify on this stage and excited to contribute to a conversation that will shape the next decade of growth in our state.

If you care about AI, advanced manufacturing, global trade, economic development, workforce pipelines, or the future of Arizona’s economy, you need to be in this room.

This is not one to miss.

Register. Show up. Connect into the global supply chain.

Let’s build what’s next.
