Being charismatic is showing subtle signs of being confident in yourself and your choices. It’s ok with you to have different opinions to others. It shows you’re not a people pleaser. You’re someone we can rely on to tell the truth. #confidence #anxiety #charisma #charm by @amyshiels1

Want to be taken more seriously? It can feel difficult when you are feeling anxious or awkward to come across as a serious person. We have a tendency to self soothe with self-grooming behavior like stroking our hair or fidgeting. It’s not cute, it’s distracting. No one is talking to you at an event and you feel mortified! Don’t retreat into your phone! DO: Find a spot to walk to, keep open body language, and find something to observe like counting how many people are wearing something red or black. This could be the chance to meet someone that could change your whole life! Be open to it. #confidence #anxiety #dating #networking by @amyshiels1

Simple way to be instantly charismatic- listen to what the other person says, think about it, say it back to them in your own words with “so what I’m hearing is..” and ask “is that right?” #confidence #anxiety #dating #communication #charisma by @amyshiels1

Receiving a compliment can sometimes feel awkward or uncomfortable for some. It might feel natural to reject them but that makes the person offering the compliment feel silly. Good manners protocol to receiving compliments is to simply say “thank you.” You’ll look like a pro. #anxiety #confidence #communication #dating by @amyshiels1
