Next to them were people crawling on top of each other, somehow making chaos look perfectly organized. By the time they finished, the sun was already high. They all puked as well after burning through all that adrenaline.Then I found my favorite scene. A father and his daughter were bathing in the sea, giggling together. The father noticed I was photographing them, so he asked his daughter to turn toward my camera with the biggest smile. I stayed for a while, waiting for Jovian to finish his own quest of catching his first fish of the day.Next to me, I noticed two red roses stabbed deep into the sand. It took me a few minutes to realize they belonged to a group of girls happily floating and chatting in the water. by @raihana.ikhsanti

This year I finally started something I’ve wanted to do for so long: shooting on film. Hihi 📸🤍For years it felt out of reach, but I always promised myself that once I reached my mid-twenties and had my own adult money, I’d spend it on the things I’d always wanted to explore. So now I’m making the most of buying rolls of film, experimenting, making mistakes, and learning along the way. 🤍 (even tho I should’ve think that buying film was a good investment to have since film is getting more and more HEHE 💸🔥)Working in commercial photography is something I’m deeply grateful for, but film has always had this pull on me. And I was right, it feels exactly how I imagined it would. It slows me down. It asks me to be present. Every frame matters, so instead of chasing the perfect shot, I’m simply paying attention.My cheessyyy ass mindd reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. Instead of deadlines, clients, or deliverables, it’s the joy of noticing the world and preserving a moment exactly as how I felt. 🦭🤍 by @raihana.ikhsanti

@ubudopenstudios 2026 at @amaru.villa felt like a home with many rooms.For four days, artists and audiences gathered together, each bringing different ways of seeing and making. Music, illustration, film, installation, architecture, and countless conversations existed side by side, all coming together to form something that felt deeply collective where different forms of expression were met with genuine curiosity and enthusiasm. To everyone who came, thank you for your presence, your conversations, and your willingness to experience all of this together. Late afternoon light passing through train windows, deers, temples, duck boats, tiny streets, water reflections, clouds hanging low above the mountains, class room.Raihana kept sending me pieces of her days like this, that probably would’ve disappeared somewhere if it stayed in her camera roll, so I kept them too, stitch it and turned them into something we could come back to later, Postcards from the way she saw Japan. by @raihana.ikhsanti
