A milestone etched in rhythm, devotion, and gratitude. ✨

Completing my Nattuvangam Arangetram, alongside eight wonderful fellow students, is a moment I will cherish forever. This journey has added a beautiful new dimension to my path in Bharatanatyam — teaching me that dance is not only expressed through movement, but also through rhythm, discipline, and the art of guiding every step with precision.

My deepest gratitude to my Guru @ranjanighoshal madam,, whose knowledge, patience, and guidance shaped every beat of this journey. 🙏

To my mother @mswathisree, who has stood beside me through every practice, every challenge, and every dream — this milestone is as much yours as it is mine. ❤️

And heartfelt thanks to my school, for always encouraging me to pursue my passion for the arts and giving me the confidence to grow beyond the classroom.

From learning the steps… to understanding the rhythm behind them, this is another beautiful chapter in my artistic journey.

One milestone completed, many more rhythms yet to unfold. ❤️🙏

A moment where rhythm became prayer, tradition became strength, and art found its voice. ✨

Seated in the grace of our timeless classical tradition, carrying every lesson of my Guru and every beat that shaped my journey — a memory from my Nattuvangam Arangetram that I will treasure forever. 🪷
Not merely keeping the rhythm… but becoming a part of it.

As part of their Nattuvanga Arangetram, each of our students was challenged to go beyond performance - to think, to compose and choreograph an original Jathi entirely on their own.
.
What you see here is the creative work of Ms. Ananya Madgula who composed this Jathi under the guidance of Dr Ranjani Ghoshal @ranjanighoshal
.
At Avartana By Ranjani Ghoshal, our vision is to nurture not just performers, but independen rhythmic thinkers and creators who understand the language of rhythm, deeply enough to express it in their own voice.
.
Here’s one among the nine original creations. More to follow.
