Today I find rest in colorful peace: a brushstroke of hope, a canvas of serenity.

Julia’s loop:
alarm, subway, office, subway, home.
Repeat.
Day after day, her life runs on autopilot.
For many, this order is a sanctuary; the absence of surprises equals security. While this structure offers some the calm of being in control, it suffocates others.
At the opposite end, the freelancer: 'master' of their time, but a hostage to constant uncertainty.

Four Legends about Braids

• Maps of Freedom: During the era of American slavery, braids served as strategic maps for escape routes. They also functioned as hidden caches for seeds and gold, securing a means of survival and trade for a future in freedom.

• The Mark of the Supernatural: In Europe, mysterious overnight tangles known as "witch-locks" were attributed to magical beings. It was believed that spirits or goblins used the hair as stirrups to ride atop people or horses as they slept.

• Andean Spiritual Order: For the indigenous cultures of the Andes, braiding is an act of organizing one's thoughts and channeling vital energy. The three strands represent a sacred bond between the past, present, and future, weaving them into a single structure.

• Norse Fertility: Inspired by the myth of Sif’s golden hair (Thor’s wife), braided hair symbolizes abundance and golden wheat fields, representing a deep connection to the earth’s prosperity.

It was said that the children of the moon bled silver, and their skin was silent testimony to that legend.
Their clarity was so pure that it absorbed the darkness around them, transforming it into a soft, eternal light.

The banalization of evil:
part of the everyday landscape, desirable, invisible, unpunished, fashionable.

On stage, those who kept silent for decades argue furiously as their privileges and narratives collapse.
Among sick minds and inflated egos that shaped our past and our destiny, we remain caught in the middle, reduced to an imposed silence and relegated to the role of powerless spectators of our own history.

We venezuelans are exhausted
