POSTS STORIES REELS
The mission has always been the same: to help tell stories of great brands in Georgia. It was a risk, but I knew it had to be done. We started small with only a few bottles in our shelves when we opened our doors in early 2024. Today we proudly carry more brands and Mexican wine too. Providing Georgia with Mexican spirits and beyond 🇲🇽✨🥂 We keep in telling you, but we couldn’t be here without all of your support 🙏🥹 During Hispanic Heritage Month remember to show your support to the Latino small business. We really appreciate every like and share! #ancestralbottleshop #hispanicheritage #bottleshop #atlanta #agavespirits by @ancestralbottleshop
We have only a few tickets left for this Saturday Dia de Muertos Experience at Ancestral. Pozole Verde, Pan De Muerto, Café de Olla, and plenty of Mezcal and story telling will be the focus of this event. We are slowing down for this one. No tasting notes, no right or wrong answers just tradition, culture that surrounds this day and its mezcaleros. We want you to really experience what this day is all@about and immerse yourself in our tradition. #ancestralbottleshop #diademuertos #atlanta #event #mezcal by @ancestralbottleshop
Over the past 2 1/2 years we have welcomed many brands to our shop, each with the intention of being able to help tell their story in Georgia. But Ancestral was actually born many years before that. I had the logo, name and its intention ready by 2022. My personal relationship with the industry goes back many years but it wasn’t until I had full control of a back bar that I understood what that meant for many small brands. That is when I decided to change the narrative and became the first restaurant in the state of GA to full go with smaller brands for cocktail placements and actually created and curated an agave menu. Without knowing it I started to write out my story for Ancestral right there. When our doors officially opened in 2024 I was very grateful for the support, but this is when the real challenge started. Ancestral has been my deeper connection with customers, brands and the introduction to community based events. We are starting and have many new projects in the future and we can’t wait to share them all with our Georgia community. Once again thank you for all your support and love these past 2 1/2 years 🥂✨🇲🇽 We hope to see you all soon and let us guide you to your next favorite bottle -Roxana Thank you @strollansleypark for the beautiful feature #ancestralbottleshop #womeninspirits #agave #atlanta #atl by @ancestralbottleshop
An evening to remember at @ancestralbottleshop! Thank you for sharing your space trusting us to share our stories and Tequilas with your community 🥃✨ Great people, curious palates, and good conversation came together for a @cambio_tequila & @poral_coffeeliqueur Founder’s Tasting with Jon des Rosiers. A special thank you to @puretaqueria for providing a delicious spread and helping make the evening even better! Grateful to everyone who came out, shared the experience with us, and grabbed a bottle to enjoy at a later date. 🥂 #cambio #poral #ancestralbottleshop by @ancestralbottleshop
This is our third year of having a small ofrenda at the shop. It is always an emotional and rewarding feeling putting this together. This year makes it extra special as we are hosting our first Dia De Muertos Experience 🕯️ This will be a little different from our usual tastings. Throughout the night we will share a carefully selected series of agave spirits, the stories behind them, and why these particular bottles are important to us. There are no right answers and no tasting notes you need to find. We simply ask that you slow down, be present, and see where each glass takes you. The evening will begin with a welcome cocktail, include a substantial food break, and finish with café de olla and pan de muerto. Guests are also welcome to bring a photograph of someone important to them to place on our communal altar for the evening. Sharing is always welcome, but never expected. Experience why this tradition is so special to us and our family and now we hope to you. Let’s break bread, listen to stories and fall more deeply in love with the spirits 🥂 Tickets are linked in bio ✨ by @ancestralbottleshop

✨ KNOWLEDGE. CULTURE. CURIOSITY. CONVERSATION. ✨ We are incredibly honored to welcome Roxana Aguirre, founder of Ancestral Bottle Shop + Market, as our Seminar Moderator for La Diosa Project 2026: Espíritu y Arte. 🌿✨ A certified mezcal sommelier, restaurateur, educator, and founder of Georgia’s first agave-forward bottle shop, Roxana has dedicated herself to honoring the people, places, and traditions behind the spirits we drink. But for me, this introduction is personal. ❤️ Roxana is one of the women I admire most in this industry — not only for what she knows, but for who she is. An entrepreneur. An educator. A wife. A mom. A woman who travels, teaches, builds her business, supports producers — and still finds joy in coming home and cooking for her family. That balance of knowledge, purpose, family and heart is something I deeply admire. And I cannot think of a better woman to help guide this conversation at La Diosa. Come curious. Ask questions. Listen deeply. 🖤 ——— ✨ CONOCIMIENTO. CULTURA. CURIOSIDAD. Pregunta. Escucha. Aprende. 🖤 ✨ Bienvenida a La Diosa, ROXANA AGUIRRE. 🌺 LA DIOSA PROJECT: ESPÍRITU Y ARTE 📍 MOLAA | Long Beach 📅 October 17 | 17 de octubre #LaDiosaProject #MujeresDelAgave by @ancestralbottleshop
