Two and a half years ago, a Pitbull concert changed my life
And now, every morning, this is part of getting ready.
Still figuring it out, one strap at a time. Meet Veronica, my new normal.

Maybe this is my Disney hot take…

I love the parks. I always will.

But some of my favorite Disney memories have nothing to do with rides.

They’re the quiet moments.
The rocking chairs.
The resort walkways.
The mornings with nowhere to be.
The places that remind me to slow down and actually enjoy the vacation I came for.

This is where I find the magic. Beyond the parks.

What’s your favorite part of a Disney vacation?

Turns out the story I was afraid to share was the one worth telling. Thank you for being a part of it. Here’s to “embracing” every part of who we are.

Veronica and I are heading to the polls! 💙🗳️

She may slow me down a little, but she’s not keeping me from showing up today.

Strapped up and ready! 💙

You asked, so let’s talk straps!

I’ve had quite a few questions about how I keep my knee brace from slipping throughout the day, so here’s a little look at my routine!

It’s taken some trial and error, but I’ve finally figured out what works for me. And yes, sometimes that means starting all over again. 😂

Just a reminder that my brace was professionally fitted, and this is simply how I wear mine. Always follow your own provider’s fitting instructions!

Life with Veronica | The Long Way Around

Before my knee brace, there was a conference in Orlando that made me realize just how much my life had changed. Suddenly, even getting from one side of a building to another felt impossible.

Funny how something you never used to think about can become something you have to consider everywhere you go.

I never thought I’d get emotional over a pair of jeans, but here we are! 🤣

After almost two years of struggling to find jeans that work with my knee brace AND make me feel good wearing them, I finally found them!

Thank you, @torrid for giving me a little piece of myself back.

Halloween is officially coming down! 🎃

I need about two weeks of my house looking like an actual house before the Christmas decorations take over. 😂

And yes, Veronica is earning every penny of that very expensive price tag today.

I’ve had quite a few people ask why I don’t just wear my brace over my jeans. Well, there’s actually a reason! 😂

I’m still figuring out what works, what doesn’t, and how to make my clothes work with this thing!

Adaptive, but make it VILLAINOUS! 💚🖤💜

Day 2 of Halloween week, and I’m channeling my inner Maleficent! A little Disney villain energy, a little adaptive styling, and a whole lot of purple, black, and green. 💜🖤💚
