Piper peeper poo boogers boogetty boogy butt Lowe has left us for the 🌈 Bridge today.

I saw her in a kennel at pet smart when I was taking Chamo for a groom in Dec 2019. She was 3.5 years old and we had lost the last of our pugs in June of that year. I knew she was coming home with me. She was a constant borking companion. She bonded with me so hard as we transitioned into work from home during COVID. She was by my side when I underwent an emergency surgery and she welcomed in Grizz and treated him like the annoying little brother that he is.

She loved food. She LIVED for food and treats (yak bones specifically) and her little Pipey sized babies that grammy would get when she went to Home Goods. When she was diagnosed with diabetes in Dec 2023, we truly thought she was going to decline because she wasn’t able to have snacks anymore and was going to be on a strict routine. She thrived. She kicked its ass. We took them to the mountains in Montana and Tennessee. She rocked the last road trip in October last year.

Fast forward to Thursday of this week. It was 60 degrees here in SE Wisconsin. Her and Grizz spent the day snooping around the yard, smelling all the things as the sun warmed up only god knows what that was buried under snow and leaves. I’m grateful for that warm sunny day. Then comes Friday, I notice a weird bruising in her ear, no biggy, I had had her in at the vets the week before for a possible ear infection, I sent a text to her doctor and she thought it was probably irritated by her and Grizz fussing at it and to just watch it and let her know if anything changes.
