Taking a detour to Hong Kong just to fly Cathay Pacific? Here’s why. Onboard, you can experience the largest entertainment library in Asia Pacific. First impressions? Smooth, thoughtful, unforgettable.

Walking into The Pier, Business, at Hong Kong International Airport, the first thing that hits you is the space. High ceilings, warm wood tones, and a long, illuminated bar that stretches like a runway. But unlike many lounges that feel like crowded hotel lobbies, this one gives you ample space.

Must try! Fresh Noodle Bar dishes, the Teahouse, rest pods, shower suites, or simply try the co-working station.

15 slides. 1 unforgettable Manila trip.
Food, coffee, history, and sunsets, all thanks to @cathaypacific for getting me there in style. From that perfect window seat to a noodle stop at The Pier, Business, the journey already felt like part of the adventure.

Manila surprised me. Binondo’s heritage, Intramuros golden hour, Jollibee gravy dips, and late-night sisig runs. I found my new favorite coffee at Odd Coffee, discovered Baker East’s dangerous ensaymada, and walked it all off at Ayala Park.

This isn’t your typical travel guide. This is what I’d actually eat, drink, and do again.
Swipe for my full Manila recs → Then book your own flight with Cathay Pacific because the transit/layover is so worth it.

Which one is your favorite? by @andrebinarto

I was born in the ’80s, raised on moments like these. No smartphones, no filters, just good music, good friends, and memories that somehow look even better years later.

Exploring Manila with @cathaypacific

I touched down in the world’s oldest Chinatown – Binondo.
Must-visits: the historic Chinatown Church, followed by a chill stop at The Great Buddha Cafe Binondo. And yes, I ate my way through: Ong Ping egg tarts (flaky heaven), sugarcane juice (the ultimate thirst-quencher),

128 years old. Still the most stunning building in the room.

The Sultan Abdul Samad Building wasn’t supposed to look like this. The original plan was a plain, forgettable Colonial design. Then one engineer said no and reimagined it in Indo-Saracenic, Moorish, and Neo-Mughal glory.

4 million bricks. Copper domes. A clock tower that echoes Big Ben. And a façade locals nicknamed “blood and bandages” for its red brick and white plaster.

At midnight on 30 August 1957, the British flag was lowered right here and Malaysia was born.

It’s not just a building. It’s the crown of Kuala Lumpur.

📌 Save this before your KL trip.
