LOVE AFFAIR

The table couldn't stop looking at Douro. Douro couldn't stop looking back. So we let them have their moment and filled the space between them with movement, sexy shapes, their favorite colors and a few secrets of our own.

Look closer. They're everywhere.

Andy & Katie ✨ | Analog Part I

It was the 22nd of August. At a 12th century monastery the air came alive once again. The buzzing of friendship, laughter, new connections made and summer blooming sparkled all over the ancient stones. Their family and friends, coming from across Europe, America, Australia, made it happen to celebrate the unique bond — how a calm, sincere and very humble girl had completely melted and safeguarded an exceptionally adventurous, wild soul’s heart. They both are so different yet so very much made for each other. Their story and gentle still sweeps me off my feet.

Thank you both for choosing me, for allowing to meet your people. I still hear how so many different worlds come together simply couldn’t stop sharing their life with each other. I absolutely loved the sound of that. I miss you all.

@pousadadeamares Pousada Mosteiro Amares —what a historically rich and epic place to be at! The service and all of the staff were so kind, positive, welcoming! It was truly top notch! ✨
@joanacarvalho12 What a gem you are for this place. It was truly lovely to meet you and see how calm, approachable and kind you were.
@andreiaferrasstudio The way you decorated everything so diligently, navigated all of your team, found solutions and always smiled while also being such a busy bee — wow! 🌻
@sandramansour What a vintage charm this dress is. I’m still in awe.
@barbarabrandao_makeup thank you for being such a calm and supprotive presence for Katie on such an emotional morning! You truly know how to make the natural beauty spark through ✨

Also — shoutout to the @carmencitafilmlab X @carmencitalisboa for giving me the best first experience and delivering such epic and vibrant scans! Now I have a problem 🙈😅

SUMMER BREAK

August will be a mix between days off and event days (literally week on week off!)

So if we're not at an event, we're probably off-grid recharging... hi there deserved rest 💁‍♀️
Replies might take a little longer than usual, pinky promise we'll get back to you, just maybe not at lightning speed 💃

Enjoy your beautiful summer!
With love,
Andreia by @andreiaferrasstudio

M&M | BTS

Between the studio and the wedding day, I guess I'm loving this season's raw content through my eyes and my camera phone 😬

Is anyone else obsessed with this kind of BTS or is it just me??

PHALAENOPSIS SEARCH

A story about that day I was looking for inspiration... and ended up finding it in my own work.
Maybe that's the universe's way of saying: it was there all along ✨

We started the afternoon with a blank page.

No plan. No certainty. Just a quiet feeling that maybe inspiration wouldn’t show up that day.

But then we started moving things around. Styling. Talking. Adjusting. Photographing.

And somehow, little by little, every piece found its place. Like a puzzle that didn’t make sense until suddenly… it did. Everything started to flow as if it had always been meant to.

Creating has become one of our goals this year. Not chasing perfection. Not forcing ideas. Just making space for them to happen.

This was our third creative exercise, and each one reminds us why we fell in love with photography in the first place.

We couldn’t be happier, and we already can’t wait for the next one.

A huge thank you to our dear friends and creative partners
@jennymakeupland, @andreiaferrasstudio and @amarepeonias . It’s truly a team effort, and we’re so grateful for it. Here’s to many more. 🤍 by @andreiaferrasstudio

S&P | BTS

This wedding prep had it all! We were on fire (almost literally 🫠) every step of the way...
Surviving an insane heat wave, doing everything we could to keep the flowers alive (and ourselves 😬), not just on the wedding day but the days before too. Shoutout to our very loved refrigerator chamber, we love you very much 🫶
And just as I was about to make the bouquet, a fire started in the building right in front of our studio... So there I was, making the bouquet with one eye on the flowers and the other on the fire, praying it wouldn't spread to our studio. But the bouquet turned out stunning anyway 🤍
Naturally, we took advantage of the moment and filmed the bouquet in front of the fire truck 🚒. Hoping this stays a one-of-a-kind memory, let's be honest, I never want to make a bouquet during a fire again 💁‍♀️
So yeah... a crazy one, but the result? A colorful, fun, and incredibly beautiful wedding, matching perfectly the energy of S&P 🤍
