Love you so much!🫶🏼 by @andresmartinez_d

I don’t share a lot about my beliefs on social media. But this weekend is special and I’ve also been reading the bible so I feel like I have to.

From 2017 to 2019 I served a mission for my church for 2 years. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

The most important thing I learned was this:

JESUS LOVES YOU.

It doesn’t matter who you are, your situation, your color, your age, your race/nationality and religion— even what you’ve done or not done. He loves you and cares about you.

How do I know?

This weekend is Easter. The day Jesus was crucified — but also RISEN. Before He was crucified He went to a garden named GETHSEMANE to pray, and “his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” Because of this He is the only person that understands you 100%. Because of this we can repent, change and become better people.

He also allowed himself to be mocked, shamed and killed — because “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

He calls you and me His friends.

In a world of confusion, wars and uncertainty it’s hard to have hope and feel His love. But remember what He said:

“In the world ye shall have tribulation, but be of good cheer — I have overcome the world.”

Happy Easter🙏🏻 by @andresmartinez_d
