Obviously, these hurt the mental. BUT, deadlifts mf carried and pulled through!!! Qualifers for teen nat was 532.5kg and safe to say, WE COMPETING AT TEEN NATIONALS BABY 😈😈
Few months into starting my powerlifting journey. I told my coach and my parents that I wanted to goto nationals and was on my bucket list. And now, seeing that im able to do that… proud.
Though coming into this meet, in retrospect, I shouldve respected it more because it showed on my failed attempts. But ofc there will always failures along the way and sometimes, you just gotta trust the process. In this case, as a ‘deadlift specialist,’ I did just that. and DAMN its a love/hate relationship being a dl specialist. But being so, another achievement was beating my coachs deadlift PR 😝😝 sorry @davidsquats
Overall, it was a very mentally taxing, but ultimately rewarding meet. Thank you to everyone that came to support and wished me good luck and sorry i didnt pull 600, but its otw 🤪. Without yall support, i dont think i would love this sport as much as I do.
Next meet will be Teen Nats. See yall at Tennessee 😋 by @andrewdphan](https://scontent-atl3-1.cdninstagram.com/v/t51.71878-15/625014511_1989471781975812_403841487632411346_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_s640x640_tt6&_nc_cat=106&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0FST1VTRUxfSVRFTS5iZXN0X2ltYWdlX3VybGdlbi5DMyJ9&_nc_ohc=jXKbmHLIuEsQ7kNvwFV1ZUO&_nc_oc=Adr-4PnpoSkOFXlFw3ou1DWm3KQYWuCZ-Qs4K2pxKnO0XAW71zWM_eERFL9BrbO6q2k1_spt_suUzaoL4L-SdoQa&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=scontent-atl3-1.cdninstagram.com&_nc_gid=1cKTY-UznrOrXZiTYxMxmw&_nc_ss=70689&oh=00_AQQ9ymzjdy7l_Ya_47EApr6IiL0and_LiHnBP2xXtlumuQ&oe=6AF13319)
