Throwback to painting a fish mailbox! 🐠

It was so nice to enjoy some time painting in the sun! Enjoyed a nice stroll after, where I used to work.

This was a fun project! 🎭

Doryphorus statue for @huntingtontheatre production of #thelightinthepiazza .
Sculpted with foam and paper maché over a resin mannequin. 3 weeks of sweat (no blood or tears thankfully) went into this 6’-2” statue. A HUGE thank you Kris and Justin for coordinating this project and thanks to the company for the memories!

🎨🚨Theatre portrait time!🚨🎨

I had the incredible honor to paint for another beautiful @huntingtontheatre @mfudofia production. Thank you to Kris and Justin for the opportunity! Seeing the stage come to life with the great cast, crew, and moving story directed by @awoyetimpo was truly something special. 🎭

Here’s a commission I did back in December! 🕊️💍

What a lovely couple and a fun painting. This was made as a gift for my clients nephew. So sweet! Thank you for commissioning me to do this, K.🤍
•
I love the texture of the her dress. The scale of this painting was a challenge so I’m proud of how it turned out. What’s your favorite part? 🎨

🚨 PAINTING DEBUT! 🚨

What an honor to be part of @huntingtontheatre company’s 2024 production of Leopoldstadt by Tom Stoppard. I had such an amazing time with the nicest people. This show being my first with The Huntington, I’ve never felt more welcomed by a company, ever.
•
A major thank you to Kristine Holmes, Justin Seward, Ken MacDonald and Carey, the director, for making this painting a reality and part of this stunning play. Go Team and Happy closing to Leopoldstadt!!! 🎭

•
What’s your favorite part of this painting?
This painting came a long way. Many late night edits at my home studio, layer over layer of oil paint and gold paint. Slight adjustments that truly added the character I think it has and demonstrates in this play. Comment below!! ⬇️ 🖼️

So saddened to hear about the passing of an old coworker, Dennis. He was such a happy go lucky guy even when work was tough. It was an honor to paint this portrait of him for his coworkers to remember him by. Rest in peace Denny.🕊️
