You think you have plenty of time. "Oh I'll get to that later." "I'll go see him tomorrow." But tomorrow doesn't always come.
Time flys by so fast and before you know it you've lost your chance to see them.

Today I lost my dad.

See you later dad. RIP

The fluorescent lights of the gym hummed, casting long, skeletal shadows across the iron. Each clang of the weights echoed the hollow beat of his own despair. For decades, this had been his sanctuary, his prison. A relentless pursuit of the perfect physique, a chimera of muscle and definition that promised to finally make him worthy of love.

He'd sacrificed everything. Countless hours, lost to the monotonous rhythm of lifting, pushing, grunting. His social life had withered, replaced by protein shakes and meticulously timed meals. His body, once a vibrant instrument, now creaked and groaned under the weight of years of abuse.

Arthritis gnawed at his joints, a constant, aching reminder of his folly. His shoulder, held together by cadaver tendons, a grim testament to the vanity that had driven him. He looked around the gym, at the young men mirroring his past self, their faces contorted in the agony of pursuit. A wave of pity, tinged with a bitter irony, washed over him.

He remembered the whispers, the fleeting glances, the cruel judgments. None of it had mattered. Love, he'd finally understood, wasn't a trophy to be earned, but a grace freely given.

If he could go back, he'd tell his younger self to step away from the mirror. To trade the fleeting glory of muscle for the enduring strength of faith. To find joy in the simple act of movement, in the rhythm of his breath, in the quiet strength of his heart.

He'd tell him about Jesus, about the love that transcends the superficial, the love that sees beyond the broken body, the love that heals the deepest wounds.

Now, the gym was a distant memory. The iron had been replaced by the cross, the pursuit of perfection by the pursuit of peace. He still exercised, but with a different purpose – to honor the body God had given him, to find strength not for the admiration of others, but for the service of his Lord.

The echoes of his past still lingered, but they were fading, replaced by the gentle whisper of grace, the enduring promise of a love that truly mattered. by @andy.autry.9

Momma Bear.
Mother of Scrappy (tabby with white socks) and mother of Scar Face (tabby with a white splotch on his face and white socks.)
Momma you really kept me goal oriented with trying to keep you and your babies fed. You were one tough one eared alley cat. I may be homeless, sick with epilepsy, carless, and unemployed but you guys really gave me a reason to live. I love you guys. I'll keep your babies protected as long as i can afford it. God always provides us with our daily bread and extra Manna from Heaven for your boys. You will not be forgotten✝️😪💔God bless you by @andy.autry.9

This is a poem about my dream Thursday night. My journey with Jesus, depression, addiction, picking up my cross and following my Father, Abba, Yeshua, the God of Jacob, YHWH, Father, son, and Holy Spirit.

"His lord said unto him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.'"

— Matthew 25:23

"Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me."
— Micah 7:8

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

"Le Precureur" 1894 oil painting by the French academic artist Eugène Trigoulet
"John the Baptist beheading."

The asphalt is cold beneath my feet,
In the blue-gray hour where the shadows meet.
I know the weight of a 34-year night,
The crippling fog that steals the light.

To me, the dark is a frozen place,
An eternal void devoid of Grace.
Where the bread I break turns into ash,
And the waters dry in a sudden flash.
I reach my hand for that familiar touch,
But the air is empty, and it hurts so much.

That is the torment, the heartbreak deep,
The phantom terror that breaks my sleep.
The fear that the voice I love the most,
Would leave me stranded, a drifting ghost,
And say the words that would end it all;
“Depart from me, I never knew your call.”

But I write my name in the margin lines,
Spelling His truth through the warning signs.
I am His property, bought and owned,
I will not face that dark alone.

I turn that page where the Proverbs stand,
Holding the sword with a trembling hand.
I fight the crash, I endure the pain,
And I anchor my soul in His matchless name.

For I know the day is coming soon,
Past the industrial dark and the fading moon,
Where the heavy veil will finally break,
And the Servant’s heart will cease to ache.
He will look at the cross that I chose to bear,
And the words of the King will fill the air:
“Enter in, the battle is done,
I am proud of you, MY faithful son.”

"The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." — John 1:5

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

God's Grace is sufficient. We deserve...I deserve his wrath not his grace and mercy. by @andy.autry.9

I love you Father ✝️❤️🙏🏻
Come pray with me.

Heavenly Father,
I come before you tonight, acknowledging the spiritual battles I face. I ask for your strength and your protection as I seek to stand firm in you.
Lord, I put on the belt of truth. Help me to live with honesty and integrity, rooted in your Word, which is truth. May your truth guide my thoughts, words, and actions.
I put on the breastplate of righteousness. Clothe me in your righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ. Protect my heart and conscience from the attacks of the enemy and empower me to live in a way that honors you.
I put on the shoes of the gospel of peace. Grant me a readiness to share the good news of peace with you. Give me firm footing and stability in my faith, enabling me to stand strong against the forces that seek to disrupt your peace in my life and in the world.
I take up the shield of faith. Strengthen my belief in you and your promises. When doubts and fears and temptations come like fiery arrows, may my faith in you be a strong defense, extinguishing every attack.
I put on the helmet of salvation. Keep my mind focused on the hope I have in Jesus Christ. Protect me from despair and negative thinking, filling me with the assurance of your saving grace and a renewed perspective.
And I take up the sword of the Spirit, which is your Word. Equip me to know your Word deeply, to understand its power, and to use it effectively to discern truth, resist temptation, and speak life.
Finally, Lord, I commit to pray in the Spirit on all occasions. Help me to be alert and persistent in prayer, bringing all my needs and the needs of those around me before you. I lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ, praying for their strength and protection as well.
Thank you, Father, for providing this full armor. Help me to wear it well each day, not relying on my own strength, but on your mighty power.
In Jesus' name, Amen. by @andy.autry.9

Heavenly Father, in this moment of sudden change and uncertainty, I turn to You, my rock and my refuge. My life feels like it has shifted beneath my feet, and I seek Your steadying presence.
Grant me Your divine protection, Lord. Surround me with Your angels and shield me from harm, both seen and unseen. Give me the strength to face the unknown with courage and faith, knowing that You are with me every step of the way.
I also lift up my need for healing, Lord. My heart may be troubled, my mind racing, and my body weary from this unexpected shift. Bring Your comforting touch to every part of me. Heal the anxieties that grip my soul, the confusion that clouds my thoughts, and any physical toll this change may be taking. Restore within me a sense of peace, wholeness, and well-being.
Help me to trust in Your perfect plan, even when I cannot see the path ahead. Grant me the wisdom to understand what is happening and the resilience to adapt with grace. May I find strength in You and lean on Your everlasting arms.
Thank you, Lord, for being my constant in a world of change. I place my trust in Your unfailing love and ask for Your continued guidance, protection, and healing in this new chapter. Amen. by @andy.autry.9

Psalm 22
1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
2 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
4 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.
5 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.
6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.
7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,
8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.
9 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.
10 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly.
11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
19 But be not thou far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste thee to help me.
20 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.
21 Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.
22 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.
24 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from h by @andy.autry.9
