POSTS STORIES REELS

Reveltion of the Face (2021)
It was around 2AM when something deep inside woke me up. I had just bought this blank canvas, and that night, I felt called—compelled to create. I stood in front of it and said to myself,
"Tonight, I'm going to paint a masterpiece".

What emerged wasn’t just a painting.
It was a revelation.
A face. A presence. A spiritual truth.
This piece became a testament to the eyes how they hold stories words could never tell.
It was emotion, vision, and life poured through my hands.

The first time I showed this piece was at an art fair in Boca, Florida.
And what happened next? Pandemonium.
People of all races, backgrounds and walks of life crowded around it.
They wanted to take pictures beside it. Some stood in silence. Some were moved to speak.
It was something new, something fresh, something they said they had never seen before.

That moment showed me: this painting carries power.
It’s more than a work of art it's a mirror, a moment, a message.

I didn’t just paint it. I witnessed it come to life.

"Her name is Sydney. An international model, a true Black queen. Painting her was more than art it was emotion, power, and beauty all wrapped in one.

Every brushstroke carried her grace. Every droplet, her story.

This is more than a portrait it's a celebration of who she is, and what she represents.

Sydney, thank you for letting me capture your light.

Sunflower (16 x 20)

The beauty of the sunflower, the yellow burns through the canvas while the green romances the brush to create an excellent finish of her face.

The Passion of Art!

🆎️26 was more than an exhibition. It was a reminder of what our gifts can do.

I’m grateful to every supporter, well-wisher, collector, friend, family member, and everyone who showed love to AB26. Your support will never be taken for granted.
A special thank you once again to Food For The Poor for the incredible work you continue to do and for allowing AB26 to become part of something bigger than the canvas.

And to my fellow Jamaican and visual artists: I encourage us to look beyond ourselves.

God gave us the canvas.
God gave us the palette.
God gave us the brush.
What are we going to do with the gift?

Let us not use our art only to build our names and our families. Let us use our work, our platforms, and our influence to give back.

There is a struggle happening around us. Join the fight. Join the struggle.

Because when God gives you a gift, sometimes the greatest purpose of that gift is not what it can do for you,but what it can do through you for someone else.

Art is life. Art is purpose. Art can give back.
