#HappyHalloween to everyone except Ethan Winters by @angcmiller
Universal Studios Japan! Shout out to my husband for being cool with us going all the way to Osaka for a day so I could experience the Wrenwood Hotel irl by @angcmiller
This dinner deserved its own post. We had an incredible yakiniku dinner at @nikuya_kinoe and honestly I'm still thinking about it. Everything was so fresh, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Shout out to our server Yusuke who very thoughtfully explained every dish, and had a very fun chat with us about anime. by @angcmiller
Jeff had one main thing he wanted to do before we left Japan: tour a castle! We got to tour Nijō Castle and its grounds, which was an incredible experience. Also went to Nishiki Market so Jeff could finally get some top-tier gyoza. by @angcmiller
Made it to Fushimi Inari! Definitely crowded at the base but less so as we made our way up the mountain. Its a beautiful and deeply spiritual place and I felt very privileged to be there. Also made pilgrimage to our beloved Dragon Burger which we discovered during our last trip with Matt and AC! Still just as good as we remembered. by @angcmiller
Tokyo food appreciation post. We had so much amazing food but special mentions to @uokin_sushi for their incredible omakase and @pizza4ps for the best pizza I've ever had. by @angcmiller
Checked out @teamlab.planets next, it changed a bit since we last visited and was a lot more crowded but we still had a great time. Bonus image of my sweet metal boy I went all the way to Shibuya to get (photo added for reference). Was it worth it? I think so. by @angcmiller
Okay here's my Tokyo hot tip: if you wake up at 5am due to jet lag, go to Tsukiji Market! Things are packed there by 9am but at 6-7am, its practically empty. Had some of the best fish I've ever had. by @angcmiller
Cue the onslaught of vacation pictures! Got to revisit @teamlab_borderless which has honestly become my favorite of the TeamLabs museums. Went to the tea house this time, and it was such a lovely experience! by @angcmiller
Forgot to share my first test knit for the #luckyslipover for @petrichor.knitwear. Lessons were definitely learned, but its an excellent pattern and was overall a great experience. #knitting #knittingpatterns #testknit #petrichorknitwear by @angcmiller
Finished #satawal by @midori_hirose_knit great pattern, some challenge with the yoke then easy stockinette/rib for the rest of the top. Turned out a tad tight around the arms but should loosen up with blocking. by @angcmiller
Some knitting projects I've finished up recently! 1. Umbria Top by @cookietheknitter 2. Growing Leaves Cowl by @meghanmacko 3. Teapot Turtleneck by loopysue designs 4. Summer Light by Sumi Okada by @angcmiller
