To the person that showed me true love and how to love, and not only becoming Alice’s stepmom but the mom that stepped up, mahal kita. 06/24/24 💍♥️

We didn’t expect any of this but i’m glad our families took the time and effort to make this day special.

Special shoutout to @jemuelyu & @_rldp

happy one month to our little beans ♡♡

beyond grateful for our village for carrying us through our first month together. thank you to our families for going above and beyond in every way, helping us care for the twins, taking on house chores, and cooking us the most comforting meals. thank you to our friends for all the sweet messages, for constantly checking up on us and making sure we were okay, and for the thoughtful gifts for the twins and for me. every bit of love meant so much during this time.

and a special thank you to my mom. i love being a mom because i was raised by a great one, and i hope i can give my babies the same kind of love you gave me 🥰 i love you all so much 🤍 by @ange1o.ph

one month in and already a lifetime of love 🥹

on march 24, 2026, my water broke at 4am. i had a c-section and the procedure itself went so smoothly. i finally met my boys and i saw love in its purest form when i saw their faces for the first time, and it was the most beautiful experience of my life.

none of us expected what would happen next. my heart rate dropped into the 30s, my blood pressure was all over the place, and i ended up in the ICU just hours after giving birth. i felt like i didn’t have control over my body and didn’t know what was going to happen to me, but i tried to stay calm and optimistic.

i was scared for my life. and at the same time trying to process that i had just become a mom, and that my babies were in the NICU without me

through all of it, my husband never left my side. he stayed with me the entire time, made sure i ate when i was finally able to, helped me get out of bed, supported me while walking, and basically helped me do everything when my body couldn’t. he handled communication with our family, set boundaries, gave updates, and made sure i didn’t have to carry any of that mental load

he was going back and forth between the ICU and NICU, making sure i was okay and that our babies were taken care of. he brought my pumped milk to them, stayed present for both me and the boys, and somehow balanced everything when i couldn’t even sit up on my own.

and even in the middle of all that, he still found ways to make me laugh, to comfort me, to remind me i wasn’t alone. when i was at my lowest and most scared, he kept me grounded.

this wasn’t the birth experience i imagined. it was painful, overwhelming, and honestly traumatic. but it also showed me what love and partnership really looks like in the hardest moments.

after 6 days of going from the operating room to the recovery room, to the ICU, to the DOU, and then the postpartum room, plus 12 days of our babies in the NICU, we’re finally coming home together as a whole family.

i’m still healing, still taking it day by day, but i’m here. and i’m so grateful i didn’t have to go through any of it alone.

at last, welcome home,
