Pink isn't just my favorite color🩷

It’s a color that represents femininity, hope, courage, and breast cancer awareness 🎀 In honor of #BreastCancerAwareness Month, I’m so grateful to share this beautifully written article by my friend @jordyoki — and a HUGE thank you to my dear friends @andnowuknow for publishing it, and surprising me with the cover 🥺🫶🏼🥰

Revisiting my journey from day one was so healing, but more importantly, I share this with the hope that the story God placed in my life inspires you to live with intention. ✨

Don’t wait for something tragic to shift your perspective. LIVE — truly live — on purpose. 💖

Many of you know my story and my heart🫶🏼. This campaign is truly special to me, and so are the companies supporting this cause. Sun Valley Farming and Trinity Fruit Company have pledged a $100,000 donation to @bcrfcure to help fund life-saving breast cancer research and raise awareness for this important cause—regardless of sales. 👏🏼✨

Breast cancer awareness isn’t just for October—it’s 365 days a year. That’s why I love this Peaches with a Purpose campaign. 💗🍑 If you spot this bag at your local grocery store, scan the QR code to donate, or click the link in my bio to give in addition to the $100,000 commitment supporting @bcrfcure.

Every donation brings us one step closer to better treatments, more survivors, and ultimately, a CURE.🙏🏼💖

Together, we can make a difference. 🍑🎀 by @angelah___

Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

For some, this month can be triggering—bringing feelings of sadness, anxiety, fear, joy, gratitude… and everything in between.

I can empathize with so many of those emotions. But the one that stands out most for me is gratitude. Would I ever want to relive the trauma? Absolutely not. But I can say that it changed me.

It changed my perspective on life.
It changed the way I see humanity.
And most importantly, it deepened my relationship with God—a God I know for certain is real. A love I continue to seek, know, and experience every single day that I am blessed to wake up and LIVE. For Him. 🙏🏽

This year, I was honored to be asked by @bcrfcure to be part of their 2026 campaign, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to share my testimony with the world.

Because when I really think about it, this story isn’t just about me. It’s about Him—and how He carried me through one of the hardest seasons of my life. My story is one of survival, yes—but even more, it is one of faith, grace, purpose, and gratitude. 🙌🏼🎀

Creating new ideas + cultivating friendships at @createcultivate this weekend ✨ by @angelah___

Such a fun weekend ideating and gleaning inspiration from other like-minded creatives. 💖✨

In the words of @halleberry, “This is not my day job, this is my heart job.” And that perfectly captures why I enjoy what I do. 🌱🍑 by @angelah___

At 40, Angela found a lump that felt different. What followed was a breast cancer diagnosis and a treatment journey that included chemotherapy, radiation, and seven surgeries.

But research gave Angela something incredibly important: options.

Diagnosed with ER-positive, PR-positive/HER2-negative breast cancer, Angela ultimately underwent a nipple-sparing double mastectomy.

“People in the past couldn't do that,” she says, reflecting on how research has expanded treatment options for people with breast cancer.

Today, Angela is helping turn her experience into action. Through her work at @trinityfruitcompany, a BCRF partner, she helped bring Trinity Fruit, Sun Valley Farming, and BCRF together through the Peaches for Pink campaign to raise money for life-saving research.

Oh, and Miles officially became my service animal… although I’m pretty sure I’m the one serving him. 🥰🐾 by @angelah___

When you’re a little girl with an amazing mom and grandma, you grow up thinking that one day you’ll have a baby of your own and be just as amazing. But sometimes God orchestrates our lives to look different than we ever planned.

Being cancer-free comes with immense gratitude, mixed with lots of emotions that many survivors live with but often cover up with a smile and a positive “bounce back” attitude. The truth is, some days are harder than anyone will ever know unless you’re walking in the shoes of a survivor.

While sharing about the end of this chapter with a good friend, I was reminded that though I've mourned the loss of carrying a life within me, the Lord showed me that He will forever live in me—and that is the most precious gift I could ever carry🙏🏼

Surgery #7 — hysterectomy ✅

Please pray with me—for my heart to rest in God’s love, for healing, and for a long, healthy life—for Him. 🙌🏼💞 by @angelah___
