POSTS STORIES REELS
In June I wrote an article for Maclean’s about my snail mail project. Here are a few excerpts. Thank you for reading ♥️ In the letter I write about the things I notice on my walks as the seasons change, or nice interactions, and included is a photograph I made along the way (usually of flowers). I take a lot of photos on these walks, and love that they get to exist as prints and make their way into someone’s home, instead of only seen on a screen or hidden away on my hard drive. If you’d like to receive the summer mailing, it goes out in two weeks. I send them all over the world. Link in bio! (all photos shown are from the winter mail) by @angelalalewis__
Delighted to share my solo exhibition, 'Places We've Never Been', 🌿 at @g44photo running for the entire month of May. This project holds immense personal significance for me. For years, I've photographed older women in gardens and natural settings, often from behind, their posture reflecting a sense of quiet introspection, without knowing why. It wasn't until later that I realized I had been unconsciously searching for my late grandmother all this time. Thanks to those who came by the opening! The exhibition will run from May 3rd to June 1st, featuring a carefully curated selection of images for you to experience up close and personal, irl! 🌸 DETAILS Where: Gallery 44 at 401 Richmond St W When: May 3 - June 1st Hours: Tues-Fri 11-5pm Saturday 12-5pm #PlacesWeveNeverBeen #Gallery44 #photographyexhibition #arttoronto #torontoart by @angelalalewis__

💌 Ive started a seasonal snail mail club called Bloom Strolling
In Fall 2025 I sent out 36 letters to people who missed receiving tangible things in the post. It might be one of the best feelings, so I’ve decided to keep it going!
In 2026, i’ll be sending one letter package each season, 🌷Spring, 🌞Summer, 🍂Fall, ❄️Winter with a signed photo print, letter, stickers, and small bits of nature to match the season.

If receiving real mail sounds real nice right now, sign up is in my bio or dm me 🍃 Note: I made individual cyanotypes for my first letter as shown here, but going forward I’m using photos I take on my daily walks. . . . . . . #snailmail #cyanotype #snailmailrevolution #happymail #diy #mail #slow #penpals #letters #stickers #stationary #mailart #penpalsearch by @angelalalewis__
