Best Things to Do in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 | 6 Must-Try Experiences, Hidden Gems & South Coast Travel Guide 🌴 Planning a Sri Lanka trip? These are some of the most unforgettable experiences I’d recommend — from giant sea turtles swimming right by the shore to tropical beach parties, beautiful cafés and surfing! 😍 🐢 1. See wild sea turtles 📍 Hikkaduwa Turtle Beach, Dalawella Beach & Polhena Beach — watch large turtles swimming close to shore. Give them space and never feed or touch them. 🍵 2. Try a Ceylon tea tasting 📍 Virgin White Tea Plantation, Handunugoda — explore a working tea estate and discover dozens of different teas, including rare white tea. 🥑 3. Discover beautiful cafés & healthy food 📍 Ahangama & Weligama — tropical brunch spots, smoothie bowls, specialty coffee and gorgeous little restaurants. 🪩 4. Experience a beach party 📍 The Doctor’s House, Madiha — a lively open-air hangout with DJs, music and a fun social atmosphere. Check the event schedule before visiting! 🌴 5. Visit Coconut Tree Hill 📍 Mirissa — one of Sri Lanka’s most beautiful coastal viewpoints, with palm trees and incredible ocean views. 🏄‍♀️ 6. Learn to surf 📍 Weligama Beach — a popular beginner-friendly surfing spot with plenty of surf schools and lessons. ☀️ Travel tip: December–April is generally the best season for exploring Sri Lanka’s South Coast. #SriLankaTravel #ThingsToDoInSriLanka #SriLankaBeaches #SriLankaItinerary #AsiaTravel by @angiedelmare
