POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi 🤍
My name is Angelica but please (I beg you) call me Angie 🤍
I have some new faces here so thought I’d share some fun facts. ✨

- My first love is music. I actually love to sing and play guitar and used to sing mariachi but I love all genres.
- I love the beach and spring and summer time is my favorite. I want to learn how to surf. It’s on my bucketlist. 🏄‍♀️
- I truly believe the best way to learn about a culture is through food and music.
-I’m a Taurus ♉️
-Soy Mexicana 🇲🇽
-I have a mild (severe) case of rbf but I am friendly I promise!
- I got into photography at an early age helping my aunt in her studio. However, I didn’t take it seriously until my late 20’s. I’ve been doing portraits for over 5 years and weddings a year now. I continue to grow my skillset by bringing inspiration from art, life and stories.
- I would love to do more travel destination weddings so if you’re thinking somewhere tropical 🌴 hit me up 😉.

Sean & Jills proposal 🤍💍

Sean has got to be one of the most detailed and strategic clients I’ve had when it comes to proposing. He had coordinates, timelines down to a criiisp. I love to see when boyfriends put it this much effort and thought to their proposals. Working with them was one of the smoothest processes I’ve experienced by far! I loved capturing this moment and having a little session afterwards with them. They were so down to earth and fun. 🤍

A tip for my fellow guys wanting to propose. Ask friends and family to help. Don’t be afraid to get their opinion on things and even help you set up things so you can be in the moment with your future fiancé!

Alejandra & Irvin 🤍

When Alejandra reached out to me and told me she was getting married and wanted to do her engagement session at el Capitolio in San Juan, I was thrilled. I had been eyeing this building since the first time I went to San Juan 🇵🇷. Beautiful white granite columns overlooking the ocean. During sunset time, a total dream ☀️

Not only was the session such a fun process but working with Alejandra and Irvin made it even better. They trusted my creativity while also knowing exactly what they wanted. A true teamwork. I can’t take too much credit though. The scenery and the couple did most of the work. I just caught it in the right moment. 🤍📸

Elegimos caminar juntos, tomados de su mano, confiando en que mientras Él permanezca en medio de nosotros, siempre tendremos un lugar al cual volver 🤎

Julianne & Thad 🤍

Viejo San Juan with two people who clearly know how to make an adventure out of life 🤍

We wandered through the colorful streets, chased some very good light and bonded over travel and photography. Finding out they both have a background in wedding photography definitely added a tiny bit of pressure though 😂 Nothing like photographing photographers to keep you humble.

Safe to say, they made my job pretty easy. The more I travel, the more the world feels smaller. Turns out we both lived in San Diego and were in San Juan at the same time to make this photoshoot come to life. Destiny? Perhaps 📸

Erin & Nick 🤍

We spent the evening running around Coronado Beach, laughing and eventually splashing our feet near the shoreline.

A little tip if you’re planning engagement photos in San Diego: don’t be afraid to actually do things during your session. Walk, play around, get your feet wet and forget about the camera for a bit. You don’t need to know how to pose. That’s my job.

You just have to show up and enjoy each other. 🫰🏻

When the wedding photos belong in the museum too. 🤍

Your wedding location does more than give you a pretty backdrop, it becomes part of the way your photos are composed and ultimately, part of your story.

The clean architecture, negative space, natural light and artwork throughout this museum gave us room to create something a little different: portraits that feel modern and editorial while still leaving space for personality and intimate moments.

When choosing your wedding location, think beyond what the space looks like. Think about how it feels, how the light moves through it, and whether it reflects the two of you. Those details make a difference in the photographs you’ll look back on one of the most memorable days of your life. 🤍

If you’re in San Diego and always wanted a session at The Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park, send me a message and let’s get you booked!

If beautiful couple portraits are important to you, make sure to set aside time for them in your wedding timeline. 🤍

Around 20–30 minutes allows us to find the best light, help you feel comfortable, and capture a mix of candid and intentional images without feeling rushed.

A thoughtful timeline gives your photos and the two of you room to breathe.

I had to post more from this wedding back in spring because look at these guys! They trusted my creative input and were very open to trying fun poses and direction during their couple’s session.

Spent a calm beautiful morning at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park with these two for their engagement session 🤍 This location offers lush gardens, Japanese-inspired architecture and little hidden gems throughout the gardens such as koi fish, waterfalls and more. Perfect scenery to showcase such intimate moments.

I was lucky enough to capture both the proposal and engagement for these guys. We had so much fun and as always I appreciate when my couples are vulnerable with me about being in front of the camera. I get it guys because even though I am behind the lens I still freeze in front of it. But that being said, I do my best to make people comfortable and treat the session like a fun date (except I am your professional third wheel who will sometimes keep asking you to kiss in front of me but I won’t make it weird, I promise. 😅)
