Feeling grateful at the moment so we're going to get appreciative and sappy for a minute. (Tldr; people are cool, live music is great, tell your friends they're great, life is cool, slow down) Thank you to anyone and everyone that I've had a conversation with, hung out with, had a beer with, sat in silence with, made fun of, saw live or was vulnerable with. This whole life thing is pretty sweet at the moment and I just want to do more of this for as long as I can. You may not be where you want, have the job you want, making the money you want. Whatever it may be, for the love of god, don't let it stop you from experiencing life the way that you want. Maybe it's my brain finally developing and realising that the people you know make every moment special. Live music is incredible, Grizzlyshark are incredible, Brisbane is incredible, Claudia is incredible, Anthony is incredible, Karnivool are incredible, beers are incredible, Hellions are incredible, Turnstile are incredible, sport is incredible and I guess I am too. Angus the Intern just found you a paid festival slot 👀 No pitch decks. No chasing replies. No getting lost in inboxes. GigSync x AAA Backstage are hooking up artists in SE QLD + Northern NSW with guaranteed paid festival slots — but there’s only 1 week left to get in. If you’re serious about getting on a lineup, this is your sign. Closes Tuesday. Don’t overthink it. 👉 Hit the link in bio and get amongst it by @angus_6661

This band will forever hold a place in my heart and this album deserves its own post, because I not only want to remember the feeling of this arriving but want to relive the reasons why I love this band and heavy music so much. Been in my feelings a bit lately but this band, for some reason beyond my knowledge seems to just speak to me. Hell, they even put this album out on my birthday (I know all for me right?) and have a song called Small Town Syndrome (iykyk). To think they almost called it a day is heartbreaking but here's to them pushing on and releasing a monster! If you've been feeling like you just want each day to end as much as me at the moment, go back, find your favourite band and scream your damn heart out with them.
