Last weekend we had the pleasure of hosting some of our friends at @royalehairparlor , Raven and Sage, for an intimate 2 day workshop on the FUNdamentals of Haircutting with our co-founders, Brad & Ania. In this custom workshop, we demonstrated techniques on how to nail the details for shorter shapes- covering pixies, crops, mullets, shullets, little bobs & bixies. For the second day, we went over a classic 90’s long layered look and the ever cool shag. This class was so much fun to really slow down & revisit the principles of cutting & styling. Thank you so much to all our models & we appreciate everyone who reached out to volunteer their beautiful hairs! Keep your eyes peeled- we hope you can make it to the next one! by @ania.lisz

Nothin’ spooky about Payton’s amazingly thick, beautiful natural ginger hair 🔥The hair you wish for in your dreams🔮After maintaining her length for her wedding last year, she came to see Ania for a nice healthy chop cutting 6” from her length & introducing these shapely layers to encourage movement & lighten the load. Utilizing our new favorite for robust, full bodied hair- @randco Suncatcher Power C Styling Butter. This butter-creme deeply nourishes & smoothes strands, while protecting from UV damage and locking in moisture. This powerhouse is your new bestie whether you want to embrace your natural wave or blowdry her real smoooooth. by @ania.lisz

Need an updated look for fall? We’re on the hunt for models for FREE HAIRCUTS for a class we are hosting for growing stylists this coming weekend- Sunday 10/25 & Monday 10/26. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to receive a bespoke haircut by one of our attendees from @royalehairparlor or one of your favorite Oko stylists Ambre, Ania & Brad! Please inquire if you are comfortable in front of the camera & ready for a change or send to a friend you think would be down! 🧡 by @ania.lisz

If your dream texture is a natural, undone texture- don’t sleep on getting a perm! Cici came to see Ania for this beautiful wavy curl before setting her sights on life in New York. One thing that’s non negotiable is amping up your hair’s moisture after a perm. Ania stands by @randcobleu Rebounce Natural Texture & Curl Defining Creme for it’s ultra reparative properties to seal in moisture with rich butters for softness, control & shine. Curious about a texture service? Schedule a no commitment consultation with Ania to see if it would suit your hair!

Good luck in the Big 🍎, Cici! by @ania.lisz

New York Fashion Week! Spotlighting our very own co-founder, Ania Lisikiewicz, who has assisted backstage at NYFW since 2018. She had the pleasure of working with designers Weiderhoft & Anna Sui for Spring/Summer 2027. Let’s throw it back to the past seasons working for Oscar de la Renta, Thom Browne, Eckhaus Latta & more. Between her experience as a Global Educator for @randcopro and NYFW, Ania brings new found inspiration to applies it whoever is in her chair at Oko that day. by @ania.lisz

NEW SUMMER PRODUCT has entered the chat!!! @randco SUNCATCHER Power C Styling Butter is my new bestie for soft, touchable defined curls. Featuring the ingredients we know & love in our classic Suncatcher Leave In Conditioner- Vitamin C ☀️ for UV protection, Hyaluronic Acid 💧to retain moisture, Vegan Collagen ⛓️for strong, resilient curls. Why choose one over another? This unique formula features Shea Butter 🌰 for added smoothness & frizz control for those with medium to coarse texture or anyone craving a tad more moisture & elongation. This product is hitting our shelves 7/13 & is sure to become a fan favorite! 😎 by @ania.lisz

Peep this shag- it’s giving main (B) character energy! Hilary was ready for a change, bringing her length from mid back to mid shoulders, loads of layers & curtain bangs to boot. Ania skillfully carved negative space into Hilary’s dark waves to accentuate all her natural flips & kicks, leaving just enough length in the fringe to work with her leopard spex. Check out her design studio! by @ania.lisz

Happy Birthday to the most hard working babe ever! May all your wishes come true this year. by @ania.lisz

Thank you to @entouragesheboygan for having me for @randcopro Luxe Layers Hands On Workshop ❤️ Despite the whiplash of Wisconsin spring weather outside, we kept the heat up with this smoking hot transformation for my model, Julie. A simple gal, Julie needed a change that was no fuss. Clean layers, playful face framing & weightless movement all carefully shaped with the scissor. Styled with a boar bristle round brush & @randco Chiffon Styling Mousse + Mood Swing Straightening Spray for shiny, bouncy, touchable hair that will stand against the thunderstorms of spring. Cleansed with Metal Detector Detox Shampoo to remove build up & deposits of harsh metals that can dull hair- her hair truly looked highlighted after. Conditioned with holy grail product Hydration Treatment for clinically tested results that guarantee smoother, frizz free + deeply hydrated hair for a month 💧 Thanks to the team at Entourage for a great class! Tag me in your photos!😘 by @ania.lisz
