WOW, WOW... oh and did we forget to say WOW?

The inaugural @afro_story_summit event was such a great turn out, we are buzzing from the energy in the room yesterday.

Firstly, attendees came from all over the country and outside of the UK in some cases (france, Sweden etc...)

Keith white kicked off the day with the margin to mainstream talk, a brilliant conversation on the entire history of black professional animation foot print.

@deanatta screened Two Black Boys In Paradise in room two, hosted by Joy Omoregie @joyousmuch
Were BIG Fans of Dean at Aniboxx and Diversimation. Big thanks to Ben Jackson at @one_6th too.

@jjwiafe gave a compelling talk on UNCLE (which is an animated movie streaming on 4OD now, produced by Aniboxx.

@laurahallain and the cast/crew of Jojo and Gran Gran Gave an exciting talk on how the TV series was actually made. The feedback on this talk was insane.

The Pitch a BBC Commissioner was outstanding which even inspired a crew of animators to come down from Covebtry, pitch the commissioners (and they got a deal on the spot!)

Our founder @jidejohnsonofficial Gave an inspiring talk on the making of the Tuttle Twins episodes we produced, on a great panel alongside @librabear and @lady_comfy and Andy Wyatt @Animationassociates

@hazdazzle our games guru and glamour panel had the audience in amazement too. Haz, we cant think you enough for helping with the event.

@thebritishblacklist and @accessvfx
We're highly impactful when it came to the Women Of Colour Trailblazing In Animation talk

@blackframeanimation again with the portfolio reviews
Courtney Pryce gave an inciteful talk on VFX lighting and Colour too.

Well done to our main partners @afroanimation and @blanchaus.events we did it!

We want to thank our sponsors and supporters who helped us put such a great event together (this includes our morning host Natalie yesufu Edwards)
