A new little hobby: collecting football club souvenirs from the cities I visit.

So far: Man Utd, and TSG Hoffenheim, picked up during my visit to Heidelberg last year.

This time, I’m adding FC Zürich to the collection, with their famous Swiss German chant, “Nie usenand gah” - we will never part. 🇨🇭 by @anikbiswas_99

And just like that, the trip comes to an end. 🇨🇭

I spent the last few days at the University of Bern for the summer school “Capital in Question.” It was a busy and lovely time. Lots of reading, discussions, long conversations, walks, and discovering a new place.

It’s late summer here, and Switzerland is beautiful in a very quiet way right now. Blue skies, clear lakes, and those endless green landscapes. Not quite cold yet, but I’m not complaining.

Going back with a head full of ideas and a heart full of memories.

A special thank you to my Presi classmate @sagnik_and_none_else . And obviously @__debkanya__ , @duhita_s Didi and Gourav da. thank you for making this feel a little less like being away from home. 🥹❤️ by @anikbiswas_99

Some of the posters from today’s march in Kolkata. This is how the youth express themselves. No matter how much the mainstream media tries to distort or ignore these voices, this generation will remember. And it will not forgive those who chose silence.

Trains have been my primary mode of travel for years, so I’ve spent countless hours by the window or standing on the footboard, watching landscapes and lives pass by. There’s something strangely moving about sharing a coach with hundreds of people, all travelling together yet each absorbed in their own, all alone. Trains have given me some of my best moments of observation, introspection, and quiet reflection.

A much-needed trip to Uttarakhand and Corbett after a long and tiring work schedule. It was not exactly a relaxing vacation as we were more interested in exploring and making the most of every moment.

From paddling across the serene waters of Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal, and Sattal to witnessing the unforgettable appearance of a 🐅 at Corbett, the journey was filled with experiences that will stay with us for a long time.

Grateful for the memories, the landscapes, and the company.

A little late in posting this, but some things are worth the delay.

A big thank you to @shroo__tea for this beautiful gift, a Madrid Metro card, which proudly becomes the second international metro card in my collection!

She also gave me a Real Madrid souvenir coin and a Real Madrid pen. Though I’m a hardcore Manchester United fan, these gifts truly mean a lot. ❤️⚽ by @anikbiswas_99

None of us three knew, back in our 2019 Presi bubble, that six years later we’d be standing amidst the mountains of Switzerland. But we did — together — and that made it all the more beautiful. That’s life: it’s always better when you have people to share it with.

By the Neckar, between hills and history - Heidelberg became a chapter I’ll always return to. 🇩🇪

Grateful to @anamitrag_99 for this. Thanks to @srajitmkumar also. by @anikbiswas_99

Every glance in Heidelberg feels like a postcard. by @anikbiswas_99

Got my author copy! 😁

Back in 2022, we set out to write 9 history books on different themes for children (with RLS South Asia). Now they’re all here, in English and under one cover, published by Speaking Tiger Books.

Grab a copy, have a read, and tell me what you think ✌🏼 by @anikbiswas_99
