The Women, Peace and Security Agenda continues to create space for conversations that matter. ✨

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Women Parliamentary Conference 2026 High-Level Media Breakfast Session, bringing together key stakeholders to expand conversations around women’s leadership, peace, security and meaningful participation.

As the WPC 2026 Online Influencers Coordinator and Program Officer at Global Impact Transformation (GIT), it was a meaningful opportunity to connect with fellow young creatives, media professionals and leaders committed to strengthening visibility and public engagement around issues affecting women and communities.

One thing that stood out to me is that peace and leadership are not built only in formal spaces. They are also built through the everyday work of women and young people who continue to create, organise, advocate and make their voices heard.

Looking forward to the Women Parliamentary Conference 2026, taking place 2–5 November at JNICC, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important conversation.

I had the honor of moderating a powerful session at the Career Connect Workshop, where I engaged in a dynamic conversation with Mr. Leodger Kachebonaho, Founder of EMWANI Cafe and Managing Director of KPD Clearing and Forwarding Tanzania. Our discussion centered on the realities of building and sustaining real business in today’s world, an eye opening exchange filled with practical insights and honest experiences.

Beyond moderating, I truly enjoyed immersing myself in every panel throughout the event. Each session brought valuable perspectives, and the lineup of speakers was nothing short of inspiring.

Appreciation to @careernamimi for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful and impactful platform. by @anisa_biagio

The cameras may stop rolling, but the conversations must continue.
WPC 2026 was a powerful reminder that women’s voices, leadership and collective action are essential to shaping the future of our region.

Walk with me through Day One of WPC! by @anisa_biagio

POV: You see a sea of flags and suddenly feel like you’re representing the whole world! 😂

Jokes aside, I’m proud to represent @global_impact_transformation (GIT) as the Program and Communications Officer at the Tanzania Youth-Led Interministerial Dialogue on Maternal, Newborn and Child Health in Arusha.

Beyond the flags, the conversations matter. From adolescent health to maternal and newborn well-being, young people deserve more than a seat at the table; we deserve a voice in the decisions shaping our future.

Because being young doesn’t mean waiting for tomorrow to make a difference. We can shape the change today. ✨

A little message to my hijabi girlies 🤍🎀

One misconception i wish more people would let go of is the idea that wearing a hijab could somehow limit a woman’s ambitions or potential.

Your hijab is your strongest weapon, not because it makes the journey easier, but because it reminds you of the values you stand for. Wear it with confidence as you pursue your ambitions, step into leadership, build your career, and make your voice heard. You do not have to compromise your identity to prove your capability. by @anisa_biagio

COP12 | Dar es Salaam, Tanzania 🇹🇿

Stepping into spaces where conversations shape the future. 🌍

I had the opportunity to attend COP12 – the 12th Conference of the Parties to the Nairobi Convention, representing @global_impact_transformation as a Program & Communications Officer.

COP12 is a powerful platform bringing together different voices to advance ocean conservation, climate resilience, biodiversity and a sustainable Blue Economy across the Western Indian Ocean. 🌊🌱

For me, being in this space is a reminder that young people have a role not only in the future we envision, but in the decisions shaping it today.

Proud to learn, engage and contribute to conversations that can turn commitments into impact.

Our ocean. Our responsibility. Our future.
