I’ve learnt so much these past couple of weeks, but more than anything, I’ve felt so alive!

There’s something so special about being in a space where you’re learning, creating, being challenged, and meeting people who are just as passionate 🥹❤️

WAITING FOR INSPIRATION

This film was created for the Accelerate Filmmaker Project 2026, inspired by the theme “The Journey.”

Making this film became a journey of its own.

-
I’ve been feeling pretty under the weather these past few days, and there were moments I questioned whether I’d be able to pull this off. Somewhere between the planning, filming, editing, and rewriting, I learned something about myself: we’re often capable of far more than we think, we just have to keep going.

Funny enough, I just found out the deadline has been extended 😅

I’m proud of this film, and I’d genuinely love to know what you think.

Creative Dev 🎬

Week Two, Day 2: My voice was slowly but surely making its way back… emphasis on slowly. 😂

(Spoiler alert: it’s Day 3 and we’re still waiting). But anyway, enough about that.

Day two was all about creative development, and I can’t even lie, the ideas were FLYING. I genuinely couldn’t hide my excitement. There’s just something so amazing about putting different minds together, bouncing ideas off each other, and watching a story come to life.

And we eventually came up with a story we love

I can’t wait for us to bring it to life and eventually share it with you guys.

Next up: RECCE. 👀
We did that today, so expect the video tomorrow!

Ended my day with @galasausage_roll because why not? 🙂‍↔️🥹

Orientation day @pinklineacademy and I woke up without a voice. 😭

I was very scared about how I was going to participate and do everything I had planned to do. But strangely, having to navigate the day without my voice made me experience things from a completely different angle.

And honestly, there was so much to enjoy! Freebies, addresses from some of our amazing sponsors, meeting so many creatives and getting to connect with people who are just as passionate about filmmaking as I am. It was such a lovely experience, and I’m really happy I was able to make the best of the day despite everything (shoutout to Pinkline for giving us nametags it saved me a whole lot) 🙂‍↔️🤲🏾

Grateful to be part of this next generation of filmmakers, and I genuinely can’t wait to show what Day 2 has in store 🤭

I got this idea when I was thinking of entering a short movie competition.

It was supposed to be the intro of the movie but I was too sick to finish filming 🫠

Apologies to all involved 🫠

This is my take on the Netflix trend, decided to add a little extra to it just because 😅

Also, I’m not the only one on this Table.. right? 🥺

Nothing fancy, just me trying to get back into my creative rhythm

I’m not sure if “A Movie by Angie” is the name that’s going to stick, but for now, I’m choosing to stop overthinking and just create

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been capturing moments, editing videos, and finding joy in telling stories through a camera (my phone).

This page is where I’ll document that journey. A space to experiment, learn, express myself, and hopefully get a little better with every film.

Every video here is shot and edited by me unless I say otherwise.

This one was shot on my iPhone 14 and edited in CapCut.

Here’s to the first of many 🥂

Edited this in April, posting it in July
Don’t be like me.

Fun fact: This was very unplanned, I was about to eat my burger and I thought I’d just take a few videos on Snapchat.

The rest they say,is history 😌

Making French toast… but really, I was just looking for an excuse to film.
