Have you ever known something… before your brain got involved?

That quiet inner yes or no.

Then five minutes later, your logical mind arrives with a clipboard and 47 reasons why you’re probably wrong.

In this episode of Being Human, I’m joined by spiritual coach, channel and Akashic Records reader Ankhana.

We talk intuition, spiritual gifts, channeling, the Akashic Records and learning to trust your own inner compass.

And then there’s the small matter of a trip to Egypt where Ankhana had an extraordinary encounter with Goddess Isis.

As you do.

Underneath some remarkable spiritual experiences, though, this is really a conversation about something very human:

Learning to trust yourself.

Curious to hear from you - are you able to have these type of open conversations/discussions with your friends and/or partner? Or are you more comfortable in spaces where everyone agrees with each other? Can you and your best friend differ from opinion and still be best friends? Have you found your tribe where you can be totally yourself and share your world views without needing to hold back to keep the peace?

I think every teenager should get philosophy classes with a teacher as I had, as it really opens up your perspectives (plural!) on life!

If anyone in NL knows 2nd grade philosophy teacher 'meneer Vervest' ("Harry voor intimi") and could thank him for his amazing classes (back in 1998/99 in Oosterhout NB) I'd be super grateful!! I still think of those lessons with a warm heart (not sure if his experience of discussing with me was the same haha).

Ok... this is NOT an invitation to discuss whether you think the Earth is flat or not, or whether C was real or not - but about the concept of KNOWING. With all the contradicting information out there, how can we really know what's true?

One thing that I know for sure (and I know not all people will agree on this either) is that we all come from the same Source, that our Essence / Soul is the same. And I'm learning - still learning! - to see someone's Soul through their behaviour, so I can always come from a place of LOVE ❤️

Now that is what I like to hear your thoughts about! What do you think about that??

One of the best feelings in the world - to connect in together with like-minded/hearted Souls to assist each other in gaining insights. Being able to be 100% yourself and knowing you're not the only one that views and experiences the world as you do...

Be mindful of what you think! Don't repeat in your head what you don't want to see repeated outside of you... Shift your thoughts and shift your reality!

Always great to still be surprised after 11 years - and to bring so much happiness to others by doing what I love (and still find a bit scary at times).
