Hi! We’re the co-founders of @khalokitchen
This is our home to share our love story and our experience creating a wedding rooted in Ayurveda ✨🪷🥰

POSTS STORIES REELS

Welcome to our home where we get to re-live our beautiful and magical Rajasthani Ayurvedic wedding.

We’re going to share every little piece of bringing it to life including the incredible humans who helped us string it all together from our families, planners, decor and photographers! All who have become our dear friends.

Our intention for our wedding was to get married in ancestral land and honor my Rajasthani roots and Jesal’s Gujurati roots. We live by Ayurvedic principles and Jesal comes from generations of Vedic teachers and practitioners. So every part of the wedding was connected to give back to Mother Nature, sacred Vedic rituals, sustainability, nourishing food, eco-friendly decor, sangha (community) and most importantly love. Everyone could tangibly feel the love that was created by our joint families and all our guests who traveled from around the world to be there.

Both Jesal and I are entrepreneurs and co-founders of a modern Ayurvedic food startup called @khalokitchen with a mission to preserve and bring ancient wisdom for the younger generation through fun and easy kitchen rituals. We’re currently based out of NYC! 🙏🏽

Being entrepreneurs, we both made it a firm intention to support small business at every step of the way from every single outfit being sourced from Jaipur from local designers, the gifts for our guests, all our vendors were local, and small business themselves. It was truly a celebration of purpose driven individuals and supporting growing businesses’

We’ll also share our advice for couples who are looking to design their weddings focused on sustainability, being cost effective and most importantly how to have fun throughout the process 😝✨ because we know how crazy it was!!!

More to come but for now so much gratitude to everyone involved in our wedding and making it the magical time it was!!

Lots of love and gratitude

Inspired by the essence of earth, we wove a dream where nature and love became one. A path of white clusters, embraced by moss and stone, led the bride and groom through water adorned with floating blooms-pure, ethereal, and timeless. Each flower, arranged as if growing, mirrored the love that flourished around them, making this the most heartfelt creation we’ve ever designed.
