Painted the absolutely stunning @ronalee_shimon on Canvas .
This is my first portraiture as a commissioned painting.
Have always done more of abstracts, florals and still life as projects.
I tried to render almost exactly like the photograph and keep her features intact.
Swipe to last picture( the original photograph) which was the reference for the painting.
The painting is yet to varnished and framed.
Acrylic on Canvas- 36 by 36 inch

But oh! How beautiful it sounds.

A new addition to my portrait series before it goes into handwork.

“May be in another life”

This year , I have gravitated towards face illustrations. Last year it was all about still life , florals, contemporary paintings. Not that I have stopped making them , depends on who wants what :p
However, there is so much satiation and fun in playing with different textures and themes when it comes to face illustrations.

Medium - Sakura Mat water Colors. by @ankitakhannasachdeva

Sometimes I dream about flowers
about their golden petals
and their green leaves
how they're swaying in the soft wind.

I like to think they do
just like I dream about them
and maybe just like I marvel at them
they see beauty in me too

Sometimes I dream about flowers
and sometimes flowers dream about me !
