🛵 7 things you NEED to know before renting a scooter in Bali Planning to rent a scooter in Bali? Save this before your trip 🇮🇩 1. Don’t rent a scooter if you don’t know how to ride. Bali is NOT the place to learn. The traffic, roads and riding conditions can be very different from what you’re used to. 2. Get travel insurance that covers scooter accidents. Scooter accidents and injuries are a real risk in Bali, so check your travel insurance policy and make sure two-wheeler accidents are covered. 3. Always wear a helmet. 🪖 Make sure it fits properly, the strap works and it isn’t damaged. 4. Check the brakes. 🛑 Test both the front and rear brakes before leaving the rental shop. 5. Check the tyres. 🛞 Look at the tread and make sure they’re properly inflated. 6. Check the lights & indicators. 💡 Headlight, brake light and indicators should all be working. 7. Check the mirrors & registration. 🪞📄 Make sure the mirrors are secure and ask to see the scooter’s STNK (vehicle registration). ⚠️ One more thing: If you’re carrying a passenger or heavy baggage, remember that it can affect the scooter’s balance and handling. Save this Bali scooter checklist before your next trip and send it to someone planning to ride around Bali. 🛵🇮🇩 (Bali travel tips, Bali scooter rental, scooter rental Bali, Bali travel guide, Bali safety tips, Bali Indonesia, Bali trip, Bali itinerary, things to know before visiting Bali, Bali tourist tips, Bali scooter, Indonesia travel, Bali vacation, Bali travel essentials) by @anmol_12
Share this with someone who is looking to move to Bali: 1) The Bali you see on instagram is not cheap: Things like fitness classes, private villas, aesthetic cafes - all of it has a price tag. Depending on which country you are coming from - it may or may not be cheaper than living back home. Plan your budget and finances before making the move. 2) Healthcare in Bali is not cheap - so do NOT skip on travel/health insurance. Especially if you are planning to surf/go for ATV or go for adventure activities. 3) The fitness culture is inspiring but don't compare yourself. It's incredibly motivating but you dont have to look like everyone else to enjoy living here 4) Bali is so much more than luxury villas, the best part here is the culture. Visit the temples, ceremonies & spend time with the locals [Bali travel, Bali guide, Bali culture, Moving to Bali, Bali lifestyle, Bali reality, Bali expat, Bali recommendations, Bali Digital Nomad, Things to know before moving to bali, Canggu Life, Bali cost of living] by @anmol_12

Not me thinking surfing would be cool and easy🤡 While I was in Bali, I did a lot of research and visited quite a few surf schools. If you're planning to learn in Canggu, here's what I'd recommend: 🌊 Premium: Kima Surf 🏄 Mid-range: Mojo Surf 💡Budget: If you're not sure whether surfing is for you, don't book a full course right away. Start with a single lesson at Old Man's Beach to see if you enjoy it. If you love it, then invest in a full course with one of the surf camps Save this for your Bali trip! 🏄🌴 #balisurfing #baliindonesia #balilife🌴 #balitravel #balirecommendation (Bali, Canggu, Canggu Beach, Old Man's Beach, Batu Bolong, Surfing, Surf School, Learn to Surf, Beginner Surfing, Bali Surf, Canggu Surf, Kima Surf, Mojo Surf, Bali Travel, Bali Guide, Indonesia, Travel Tips, Adventure Travel, Solo Travel, Bucket List, things to do in Bali, Bali recommendations, Bali Life, Travel to Bali, Booking Bali) by @anmol_12

Complete expense breakdown for my 2 months in Bali 👇 🏡 Accommodation: ~₹3,000/night 🍽️ Food: ₹500–₹1,200 per meal 🛵 Scooter rental: ~₹10,000 for 2 months 📱 SIM card: ~₹2,500 🧺 Laundry: ₹300–₹400 per load 💪 Workout classes: ~₹1,000 per session ✈️ Flights: Depends on where and when you book 📑 Visa: ₹2700 per person 💰 Tips on saving ₹₹₹ • Use ClassPass if you want to try different workout studios, or get a monthly membership if you'll be sticking to one gym. • Stay in hostels instead of hotels to save significantly on accommodation. • Compare laundry prices before choosing a place—they can vary quite a bit. • Book your accommodation for a longer stay to get better rates instead of booking smaller durations • Rent your scooter for a month or longer for the best deals Planning a trip to Bali? Loved eating at these restaurants in Ubud: 📍Mother: Clean Organic Food, great for lunch! 📍Plant Bistro: 100% vegan restaurant with one of the biggest vegan menus I've ever seen. Don't miss the Pumpkin Gnocchi & Pizzas here 📍Zest: Another all vegan place, great vibe and a good date night spot too ;;) 📍Gale Club: Delicious Sri Lankan Food. The pumpkin curry with rice is so comforting 📍Milk & Madu: Honestly everything on the menu is worth trying! 📍Tukkies: 100/10 - their coconut icecreams are a must try Save this for your next trip! For the Balinese, Canang Sari is much more than a daily ritual. It's a way of expressing gratitude, seeking blessings, and maintaining harmony between people, nature, and the divine. Every flower is placed with intention, with each color representing a direction and a deity: - White – East (Iswara) - Red – South (Brahma) - Yellow – West (Mahadeva) - Blue or green – North (Vishnu) That's why you'll find these offerings almost everywhere, outside homes, in temples, at shops, beside scooters, near entrances, and even in kitchens before a restaurant opens for the day. Each offering is a small reminder to pause, give thanks, and start the day with intention. It's such a beautiful tradition, and one of the many reasons Bali feels so deeply connected to its culture🌺🙏 #baliindonesia #Baliculture #canangsari #balilife🌴 #balitravel by @anmol_12
There's something so satisfying about a brand that's built around doing one thing really, really well. Tukies did that with coconuts, and it's become one of Bali's most loved dessert stops🥥🩷 #tukiescoconutshop #balieats #balitravel #wheretoeatinbali #balibooking by @anmol_12
