Formidable plus 9 and I don’t take it lightly. The older I get, the more gratitude I embody. Lord, here I am take whatever you want. Sending my heart and joy to every single one of you for the words of life and blessings spoken over me today. My cup runneth over 🤎🤎🤎 #justagirlfromsierraleone #birthdayfun #cakeday by @annettenjau

Let’s make our voices heard… the one time I will post about this. Sick of the inhumanity running around rampant on this earth. #justagirlfromsierraleone #agingwell by @annettenjau

The drama of this dress and this bag will live on 🙌🏾

Two photos. Same dress. Six months apart—and 20 pounds between them.

But here’s what hasn’t changed: I felt beautiful, confident, and sure of myself 20 pounds ago, and I feel just as beautiful, confident, and sure of myself today. My worth was never waiting for a smaller number, and it isn’t defined by the number on the scale now.

I’m learning to be kind to my body at every stage of the journey, whatever that journey may look like. Meaningful change is built through consistency, patience, and the small, everyday choices that add up over time—not through perfection or punishment. Wherever you are today, you deserve compassion, respect, and the freedom to feel good in your body right now.

The only time I’ll say “Let Them”… your authenticity does not need approval from a single soul on this earth. 🥂 #justagrilfromsierraleone #alwaysgivingjoy #whoIthinkIam
