What breeds are a "no" for your farm?

#chickenkeeping #cornishcross #homesteadlife #chickencoop #selfsufficiency by @annieshomestead

Apparently, harvesting a chicken you raised yourself is where some people draw the line.

But buying mystery meat from a grocery store is considered completely normal? 😓

I’m not pretending harvesting is easy or emotionless. It isn’t.

That’s exactly why I believe people should understand more about where their food comes from.

You don’t have to raise your own meat.

You don’t have to harvest your own meat.

But if you eat meat, the process still exists whether you see it or not.

Nobody loves you like @boise.organic.hair 🥰

I fell in love with Chelsea at my very first appointment. We immediately started talking like we had been friends for years as soon as i sat down in her chair.

She asked all the right questions about my hair, listened to what I wanted, and took the time to educate me about the products she uses and why she uses them. I never felt rushed or talked over. I actually understood what was going on with my hair.

Chelsea has been a hairstylist for almost 20 years, and she has created her own hair care line, @cacappelli . Her products are made with organic ingredients and are designed to provide gentle, nourishing care for your hair.

She uses the CHI COLOR MASTER for customized blonding and color. AND its ammonia free!!!! I loved learning about the equipment, the products, and the thought she puts into the entire process.

I want beautiful hair, but I also want to feel comfortable with what is being used on my hair. Bc we all know how toxic the hair care industry can be 🥲

I left with hair I absolutely loved and a much better understanding of how (&why) Chelsea approaches hair care.

If you’re in the Boise area and looking for a hairstylist with a more intentional approach, check out @boise.organic.hair

this is all i got by @annieshomestead

Beautiful hair starts is more than just a leave in conditioner..

I already prioritize an organic diet full of red meat & local produce ❣️

but I love adding in beef organ supplements too!

They provide nutrients like B12, iron, copper, and vitamin A, which help support normal blood, skin, and hair function when your body is lacking them.

Collagen provides amino acids your body uses to make collagen, while organic hair-care products can gently cleanse, moisturize, and reduce exposure to ingredients I prefer to avoid.

The goal isn’t more of everything. More supplements, more hair appointments, more red meat. It’s really just consistent support from the inside out: nourishing your body, caring for your scalp, and choosing products that work for your hair. It's really that simple y'all.
