Weaving cloth is magic itself, but when we practice magic, we weave unseen forces together to create our desired outcome. Ancient women practiced these arts. Over 200 drop spindle and loom weights were found in the excavations of the Celtic Lake Village in Glastonbury, which to many is considered the Ancient Isle of Avalon. Weaving is a priestess art and not only induces trance but has been known throughout almost every culture to be connected with the magical arts, oracular work, and in some cases directing the threads of fate. Have you ever woven threads or magic? #priestess #avalon #weaver by @annwynavalon

I do not believe that every woman is born a Water Priestess. My mother is not a water priestess. The thousands of women who come to The White Spring for healing are not water priestesses. I do not believe that people obsessed with and who worship money are water priestess. I do not believe that selling a water filter makes you a water priestess. I do not believe in watering down the sacred to make people comfortable I do believe that there are women (and men) who are called by the water spirits to walk this crooked and difficult path. I do believe the water spirits test you and push you to the edge. I do believe they choose those who selflessly devote their lives in sacred service to the water. I do believe they call people who devote their lives to the sacredness of water to begin the journey that will ultimately bring them to the path of the water priestess. I do believe they call those who value water over money and fame to be in sacred service to them. Would you give up everything to be in sacred service to water? Most will not give up the home they love, all of the money in their bank account, or their time to be in service to water. When the water spirits called me into sacred service at the White Spring in Avalon I gave up everything to answer the call. Would you? The Path of the Water Priestess is not for the faint of heart. It is not an easy or a straight path. When I first was called by the water spirits over 15 years ago to walk the path of the water priestess they pushed me beyond my boundaries. They asked things of me I never thought I would be able to achieve. They have shown me the mystery and magic of life. I would give it all up again, over and over, if they asked. If you are called by the water spirits into sacred service and need a place to start. Check out the first book ever written on Water Priestessing. The Way of the Water Priestess. If you are ready to begin your journey on the path of water and to become a water priestess I am happy to be your guide. You can begin at WaterPriestess.com If I am not your flavor. I still cannot accurately pinpoint everything that this trip has meant to me, only that I know I was supposed to return here at this time, and I’m so thankful to @annwynavalon for holding space for this incredible spiritual journey. As I cannot post all of my favorite photos from this experience in one go, I’ll be splitting them up in sections. I hope you enjoy getting a glimpse into my life in Avalon this past week (and I’ll be posting even more on @jessonasidequest ). #avalon #glastonbury #bathuk #sulis #morganlefay Day 1 at the Roman temple in Bath, with the Roman governor’s and emperor’s standing guard Just a few of the amazing ladies I got to spend time with this week, exploring this museum was so much fun (says the book nerd) @deb.m.johnson @annwynavalon Fun fact, while there are still places in Bath where you can immerse yourself in the hot springs, this main pool is NOT one of them (note the green color and bacteria they cannot seem to scrub out) Additional fun fact, the ancients used to throw curse tablets into these waters (makes you wonder why they’re not usable, right? 🤣) Sulis Minerva, the goddess of this temple, combining the local Celtic water and healing goddess Sulis with the Roman goddess of wisdom and craftsmanship, Minerva. She was so revered that when the Romans invaded Britain, they paired their native goddess Minerva with the indigenous Sulis instead of replacing her! Our friend Terra found this gorgeous London Plane tree (over 140 years old!) so of course we had to thank it for the beauty and life & provides for us The Bath Abbey, a real testament of architecture (I love a good spire and stained glass window) 🪟 Fed directly from the healing thermal springs of Sulis, the cross bath is a beautiful immersive experience (this was us after leaving) Inside cross bath, and the waters were the warmest we swam in the whole trip! They flow out from the glass orb to the left there, to which you can see into the blackness where the waters emerge. My one word after this experience: light by @annwynavalon
