Progressive Resistance Bands for 60yd Drive Phase (First 10yds)- Speed

This workout uses resistance bands to improve acceleration and explosion in the first 7 steps of a 60-yard sprint.

Structure:
• 2 cords — 8 reps
• 3 cords — 6 reps
• 4 cords — 4 reps
• Each rep = ~7 powerful drive-phase strides

Focus:
• Strong forward lean and low heel recovery
• Explosive horizontal force (push the ground away)
• Powerful arm drive and good posture

Contrast:
• 2 sets of 4 contrast reps (heavy resisted → lighter/unresisted sprint)
• Helps the body produce more explosive power after resistance

Purpose:
• Build faster acceleration
• Increase power and explosiveness
• Improve drive phase mechanics under resistance by @coachem_media
