Candle Drop!!! These are few of my favorite things… 🐄 Cows and candles and candlestick holders, oh my! If you didn’t know I was a bird nerd, now ya do 🦢. You all tried to by my personal collection of candles at my last pop-up, so I now carry a limited amount of 100% beeswax tapers because I love you 🙂‍↕️. These will be available at my next pop-ups! May 9th @neat.coffee from 9-1 and May 17th @oslocoffeeco. See you so soon!
For those who care 💅🤓 special guest appearances by a red-tailed hawk in the first pic and a 30 second clip of a Bewick’s wren that visits our yard with a ton of others but he liked us and decided to stay and chat. by @antojaceramics

May the cempasúchil guide all of our loved ones back home to us. Tonight is so sacred for so many, the hope to be with them once more. “Our dead are never dead to us, until we have forgotten them.”

I will always love and remember you, Jeff. I really wish I didn’t have to add you to my ofrenda, this is too fresh and too raw to celebrate- we were supposed to hang out. I was supposed to call you on your birthday and you didn’t know it yet, but you were supposed to come celebrate mine. You will be in great company, though, so many people that I wish were still here. I left you an English Breakfast ☕️, I hope you like the way I made it. What a privilege it is to mourn for it is evidence that we loved.

Bits and bobs (in September) I’m ready for autumn 🍂 weather, please. Is anyone else wanting to bake every day as well? I hope it cools off soon.

1. Tried my hand at garlic 🧄 graters and I don’t know why I was surprised that they work 😂.
2. I’m going to incorporate more life stuff to this page and a lot of my life involves books and talking about books 📚. Read this and Yesteryear by Caro Burke Blaire, and Strangers by Belle Burden in Sept.
3. Costal sky sunsets (Costa Mesa, CA)
4. Celebrated the first day of fall 🍁 with pumpkin scones and pumpkin tea.
5. Peep 👀 my favorite night gown that I also wear out. It has my initials cross-stitched by the last person who wore it. I hope they had a good life.
6. @wineintheback wine 🍷 club pick up and a round of Rummikub with my favorite person
7. It’s a good day if you get to eat fried haloumi
8. Fall foliage in Maine
9. An amunita!! 🍄‍🟫 (correct me if I’m wrong fellow mycologists)
10. Was very excited to see this guy 🎣
11. Found this LLBean coat thrifting in Oxford, Maine
12. Honor system side of the road flowers
13. My most favorite apple of all time that I can only get on the east coast, McIntosh 🍎.
14. The one day I wore a sweater at home in September for school drop off and had to take it off an hour later 🥵. Also my whole wardrobe is now combinations of ♥️🤎💛💙. #maine #pottery #ceramics #fallvibes by @antojaceramics

⭐️ I call this shelf the dopamine hit station because nothing beats the sheer thrill of seeing your fully glazed/fired/finished pieces out of the kiln. The life you live when you start, wait, finish it is it’s own little pocket of measured time contained in a tangible form that only the maker can know and that feels like magic. ⭐️

(Especially when you leave for a few weeks and you forget what you made 🤭.)

I must also add that seeing others’ pieces is also a gift and you get excited for your friends and can’t wait to see them so you can tell them ✨. by @antojaceramics

Sorry Marissa, Bessie has a photo shoot 💅 🐄 . Completely coincidental that we bought quail eggs and they were the same exact pattern as the glaze I use and for the butter dish I was documenting that day. 🐄 A piece that took over a year maybe for @robotvitamins by @antojaceramics
