October in San Diego ☀️🌴 by @antonettemusic

Ahh where to begin?

2026 feels like a blur to be honest. I don’t even know how I got through a whole semester of classes with straight A’s while working during the hardest time of my life. I’ve been through a lot of pain and trauma, but grieving the sudden & traumatic loss of my fur baby & best friend, Shea🪽has brought me pain that I can’t even begin to describe. How is summer almost coming to an end?!

It’s been 5 months yet there are moments where grief hits me out of nowhere and suddenly I’m shattered into a million pieces as if he took his last breath in my arms just yesterday.

I appear fine on the outside but that’s as expected when you’re forced to exist & show up everyday despite feeling like a huge part of you is empty. Some days I’m okay & almost numb. I feel guilty for feeling joy at times knowing he’s not here with me.

I still grieve the life I had with him. Over 10 years of so many milestones while also grieving the life he didn’t get to have. Before Shea passed, David & I talked about getting a new place with a yard so he can run in the grass anytime, taking him upstate, and being at our wedding. We were even hopeful he would get to meet our potential future baby.

But life doesn’t always go as planned & despite how difficult it is to go through such a loss, I continue to live my life as best I can, staying present & excited for each day under the sun…just like Shea. My happy, sweet, loving boy. I miss him so much every second of the day, and I always will.

I don’t want this post to just focus on the sadness I feel, because through it all, I’ve still managed to find so much joy and happiness in between. I have my loved ones & my two cats to thank for that 💝 Those that have gotten me through this year & given me so much love and support are not all shown in these photos but they know who they are 🫶🏼.

Here are a few captured memories & 2026 highlights so far. Looking back at these photos is a reminder that it’s going to be okay & there is so much to be grateful & excited about. Thank you to my friends, family, & my fiancée for bringing me so much sunshine when I need it most!

📍Saratoga Springs - a much needed relaxing getaway with my other half 🪴♡ Happy 11 year anniversary (3/1) to the best partner I could ask for, I wouldn’t have been able to get through these past few months if it weren’t for your love & support.

“In a world that celebrates endless hustle and constant productivity, it’s easy to feel like a day without a packed schedule is a day wasted. But when I pause and really think about it, I realize this relentless race doesn’t bring me more motivation or success - it only leads to more anxiety, worries, and the inevitable comparisons with “perfect” lives on social media. So I choose my own pace. I choose my own life.”

“I will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you for all of yours”

You would have turned 11 this June. It hurts to have you taken from us so fast and suddenly. We we were so sure we had atleast a few more years with you. To take you to Florida, to be with us wearing your cute little tie when your dad and I get married at the courthouse. We miss you so much, the house is so quiet without your pitter patter. We cry whenever we see little traces of your fur and chewed up toys stuffing. You will always be my sweet baby munchkin boy with the sweetest gentlest eyes. Until we meet again, your dad and I will be waiting to give you a “Shea Day” again ❤️‍🩹🤍🪽🐾 #petloss #grief #dogloss #souldog #alldogsgotoheaven by @antonettemusic

What a night 😍 thank you @anniemoffitt for the opportunity & @arlenesgrocery for having me on your stage 💜 it was such a blast performing my music in such an iconic venue! On 12.28.25 I got the incredible opportunity to see BSB at the sphere in Vegas & it was absolutely life changing!! Still having withdrawals but this will forever be a core memory. I used to steal my sisters millennium CD and boombox and pretend I was performing and dancing these songs in my garage when no one was looking and those moments lead to my dreams of being a singer. Little 5-year-old Ant would be screaming!!! I 🥹🥰 so grateful to experience it with my loved ones too 🩵✨
