Grateful and excited to have @manto_original on board as my sponsor.

11-year-old me wouldn’t believe it if I told her she’d grow up to be a photographer and a sponsored athlete. What an incredible life. So excited for what’s ahead! 🤼‍♀️

It is actually not that simple to photograph a rock.

On 27th September, @powertrip.ww members @antonia_zanette and @violetxanthebennett joined forces with @milanimalcom to host a mega cookout and open mat.

We drank beers, danced, sparred, ate hotdogs, hung out, gave away free flowers to all attendees, sold custom event T-shirts designed by the amazing @yego_bjj and threw a charity raffle to round it off with prizes including bags of @lucidcoffeeroasters beans, a private class with @milanimalcom head coach @_andreabaggio_ and a bag of @powertrip.ww goodies.

The @powertrip.ww global cookouts have a simple mission: break bread, break grips and build community. This evening was a powerhouse of sheer joy and a reminder of the ways in which grappling can bring good people together in all the right ways and for all the right reasons.

All proceeds from T-shirt sales and raffle tickets will be donated to @direcontrolaviolenza - this group of 89 organisations manage 118 anti-violence centres and over 60 shelters in Italy, providing life-saving support to approximately 24,000 women experiencing violence each year.

Thank you to every person who donated their time, access, skill and expertise to making this open mat happen, and to every attendee for bringing such amazing energy. by @antonia_zanette
