DREAMINGπŸ’« . There is something so magical when a sketch becomes a realityπŸ’«βœ¨ . This is the potency of collaborations with makers whose craft is aligned so seamlessly with your creative dreams and aspirations. . I maintain that the β€œrug” becomes the thread that ties curated assemblages of furniture together, setting the stage for each piece to perform…to dance…to become… . Designing this rug allowed us to truly determined just how this open space and curated pieces would define this moment suspended between Architecture and functional Art… . Thank you @giada__studio for this beautiful rug with your unwavering performance, delivery, quality, but most of all creative collaboration, and to @julienvictorhakoun for being my creative muse.. . LUCKY STAR βοΈπŸŒŸπŸ’« . This industry can be tough. It can test you to question something so innately part of whom we are as Creatives. . To have β€œLucky Stars” in your Life that share your creative passion, and drive for excellence, to support each other through the valleys and cheerlead you at the peaks is not only a gift but a necessity. . Don’t forget to count your β€œLucky Stars” and let them know how much you appreciate them !!! . CONVERSATIONS . Thank you @minottibyddc for inviting us to be a part of the Italy America Chamber of Commerce event, celebrating design and craftsmanship, alongside engaging conversations amongst Miami’s creative community. . Our big focus revolved around the increasing awareness about nurodesign and the balance between AI and the irreplaceable nuances of human interaction during the design process. . Thank you @fontenelle.thais, Miami Showroom Director of @minottibyddc for moderating great questions, my dear friend and Principal of @hinostudio and the talented @jldesigntn for such a wonderful conversation! . #conversationsindesign #luxuryinteriordesign #italianchamberofcommerce by @antrobus.design.collective
WILD SIDE . One of our most maximalist projects where pattern was the β€œwild child” and a sober palette of black, white and neutral tones β€œkept it together” with accents of bronze and gold tones to elevated ! . One of our strengths is diversity in design styles with the constant thread of a strong narrative dedicated to each Client’s story and personality. And yes !! this most fashionable clients’closet resembles this room filled with Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, animal prints and lots of bold black and white patterns. She is truly a Fashion Icon ! . JAZZY . Bold black and white pattern like the keys on a piano playing jazz with accents of golden notes decorate this room with a view. . Hand blown glass orbs by Peter Marino stacked together, punctuated with polka dots add playfulness next to a stoic black leather Minotti chair. . 55πŸ’₯ . Today is my 55th year on this planet, and I gotta tell you, I feel younger and more alive than I did in my 30s, my 40s, and even in my 20s. . For me, age is not a number. It’s an energy and an attitude and the accumulation of experiences, the good ones and even the bad ones, that become your receipts of life. . It’s those receipts that give me the confidence, and energy to move forward with excitement and anticipation for what lies ahead ! . Don’t let aging weigh you down, let it be the engine that propels you forward !!! . Happy Birthday to all my fellow Libras !!!! . Go get it !!!!!! . by @antrobus.design.collective
ADAPT . With furniture arrangements we never assume a layout, but rather start with a conversation about how the spaces will actually be used. This approach has led us to create truly memorable and livable spaces. Here the iconic Camaleonda sofa designed in 1970 by Italian Architect and Designer Mario Bellini did just that for this space that floated between two bedrooms transforming it into a lounge that could be used for multiple purposes including engaged β€œcreative brainstorming” meetings for a client that often incubates and births revolutionary products that transforms lives. More than a sofa, the Camaleonda was conceived as a radical new way of livingβ€”one in which furniture could adapt to the changing needs of a room and the people inhabiting it. With a system of cables, hooks, and rings the design allows the individual 90 Γ— 90 cm seating modules to connect, disconnect, and transform. This is when furniture BECOMES the architecture of the room itself. POOLSIDE . Obsessed with these tasseled bar chairs from @tidellimiami . I remember telling the client β€œthe barstools should be sexy, fun and full of character” to add a whimsical layer to their outdoor entertaining. . This is the magic that happens when Clients let go a little and trust the madness of our creativity πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ’₯ . CONVERSATION The conversation chair, also known as the tΓͺte-Γ -tΓͺte or courting chair, emerged in the 19th century as an elegant expression of social intimacy. Designed to accommodate two people facing one another, these sculptural pieces encouraged private conversation while maintaining the refinement and etiquette of Victorian-era society. With conversation becoming overshadowed by digital communication, I wanted to create a modern interpretation of this iconic chair type. . My contemporary interpretation reimagines the conversation chair through the lens of mid-century modern design. Sculpted walnut frames embrace two opposing seats upholstered in sumptuous olive-green velvet, their fluid silhouettes connected by an integrated walnut table. The design celebrates the beauty of human connection, transforming a historic furniture form into a contemporary statement piece at a time when it’s needed most! . Equal parts functional and sculptural, it invites two people to sit, linger, and rediscover the art of conversation. by @antrobus.design.collective
PERSPECTIVE . Often asked how do I maintain a positive energy (most of the time) whilst navigating the overwhelming nature of our business. The real key for me that has come with age is truly understanding that I can’t control anything or anyone other than how I β€œchoose” respond to them or it. I’ve learned the Power of Perspective, and how just reframing how I β€œchoose” to see things offers so much relief, making space for joy to prevail… Not one for cliches, but here are a few quick mantras that I say to myself in the moments I feel overwhelmed. They do offer a quick shift in perspective which keeps me buoyant above the noise of it all: I never say β€œI can’t”…instead I ask myself β€œhow can I” I remind myself in the moments that truly challenge me that I have two choices how to move forward…”I can either sink or swim…and there’s a lot of swimming out there to do !!! 😊 β€œSuccess is Leased and Rent is Due everyday!” Instead of complaining about how much I HAVE to do I simply change my words to, β€œI GET to do” these things. Give these a try !!! . Click on β€œlinktree” in the bio above for the full podcast. . Or go to YouTube β€œThe Heart Behind the Leader” . ARRIVAL . The design of the arrival sets the tone for your experience throughout. . Elevator vestibules are particularity challenging as they are enclosed in small spaces, with the code required fire doors, and more often than not, metal doors that we can’t do much with.. . Our design goal is to make them feel like the rest of the home upon arrival, so as to distract from the obvious restrictions of space and codes. . Here are a few of our favorites we’ve done. .
