I used to care so much what people thought that it stopped me from being ME and sharing what I had. I started posting on social media not too long ago as a way to combat the inner voice that was frightened and afraid of making choices and sharing herself.

If you would have told me the Queen herself, @kchenoweth would have liked one of my singing gymnastics videos, I wouldn’t have believed it!

This uplifted me so much I wanted to geek out and share it here. For no other reason than… I wanted to!! And it made me happy!! And happiness is worth sharing 🫶🎶

If you’ve got something that makes you happy but doesn’t make sense to others, just DO IT. You have this one life. And it belongs to YOU.

Proof that real connection isn’t hard to find when you actually stop and listen to what someone brings into the world. He complimented my shoes, I stayed for his music, and he noticed my train before I even did. A tiny moment of magic I’ll never forget. ✨ #nyc #nycsubway by @anushmovesyou

How to do the 10-Second High Note Reset:
1️⃣ Start Easy: Sing an easy, comfortable mid-range note on Ah with steady, relaxed airflow.
2️⃣ Shift the Vowel: As you glide upward, smoothly shift the vowel to Oo.
3️⃣ Feel the 3D Expansion: Don’t reach up—feel the built-up acoustic energy gently expand the walls of the back of your throat up, out to the sides, and down simultaneously.
4️⃣ Let It Bloom: Allow that natural momentum to carry you straight into weightless head voice or high belt resonance without forcing a single muscle!

Why This Works (The Secret Mechanics):
The biggest mistake singers make on high notes or a high belt is pushing extra air or reaching upward.
When you shift from Ah → Oo, the Oo vowel builds up concentrated acoustic energy in the pharynx. Instead of squeezing your throat, that energy acts like a soft balloon expanding from the inside out—naturally opening space up, sideways, and down in the back of your throat.
You aren’t forcing the space open with muscle; you’re letting the acoustic momentum create the room for you!

💡 Vocal Tip: Let the sound do the heavy lifting. If you feel any muscle tension, tone down the volume and focus purely on feeling that multidimensional expansion in the back of your throat.

The fastest way to fix technical singing mistakes isn’t thinking harder about technique—it’s stepping completely into character. 🎭✨

My coach gave me the single best piece of advice before I sang: he reminded me that this character had known nothing in her life except abuse. That one sentence changed everything. Instantly, the technical errors vanished, and I stopped getting stuck in my head.
When you use the cue to be fully alive as the character—even in the practice room—everything shifts. It stops being about singing “right” or hitting perfection, and becomes about freeing their thoughts, their truth, and their experience.

We were put on this earth to give a voice to these stories.
