Hi, I’m Allison. I’m an abstract mixed media artist based in Portola Valley, California, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and my work. I create layered, intuitive abstract mixed media work that explores the connection between thought, emotion, and perception. My process is rooted in experimentation, layering, and responding to what emerges over time. I rely on the elements and principles of design to help guide the work as it develops through color, texture, mark making, and collage. Art has become both a daily practice and a way of making space for reflection, complexity, and feeling. I’m glad you’re here. #mixedmediapainting #abstract art #artfuelstudio #colorcure #composition lab by @apkroeger_art

Just trying to get things going after a break from the studio. Just playing with drawing materials and paint with no plans in mind. Just noticing what I like and following that. #intuitiveart#mark making. #creativeprocess#worksinprogress#worksonpaper by @apkroeger_art
