POSTS STORIES REELS

It’s been a minute, so if you’re new here—hi. 👋

We’re Heather & Terrence, the husband-and-wife team behind Apollo Fields.

We met in New York City more than a decade ago and have been building a life together ever since. Along the way, what began as Heather’s photography business evolved into something we now run side by side—photographing weddings, hosting intimate celebrations, and somehow balancing it all with two little boys who keep us on our toes.

These days, Apollo Fields is both our photography company and the place we call home. It’s where we welcome couples, gather around long tables, celebrate meaningful milestones, and create the kind of experiences we’d want for our own friends and family.

Our work has always been about people. Not perfection, not trends—just genuine connection and the stories that unfold when people feel comfortable enough to be themselves.

Whether we’re photographing a wedding in the city, on a mountaintop, or right here at Apollo Fields, our goal is the same: to create images that feel beautiful today and even more meaningful years from now.
If you’re new here, we’re so glad you found us. And if you’ve been following along for a while, thank you for being part of this journey.

This shot really needs to be like 6 feet wide, but this tiny little instagram box will have to do for now. Props to @terrence_huie for the drone work on this one 🌊

Hello October (just a few days late)& hello Apollo Fields fam! 🍂

New month, new excuse to re-introduce ourselves. We’re Heather & Terrence, the husband-wife duo behind Apollo Fields.

We’re Heather & Terrence, the husband-wife duo behind Apollo Fields. Heather has a thing for chasing sunlight; you’ll usually find her holding her hand up to the sky like she’s trying to catch a golden ray to tuck in her back pocket. She wrangles family portraits with east coast kindness and navigates wedding days with equal parts artistry and hospitality.

Terrence is the storyteller of the two. He’s got a radar for hidden smiles and those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments that make your day yours. He’s also the guy who will pull out your inner goofball and calm your nerves… but fair warning, don’t beat him at Scrabble twice.

Together, we slip into your day like old friends, capturing the quirks, smirks, and all the dance floor antics. And yes, we’ll happily bust a move right alongside you.

So here’s to October, new stories to tell, and a lot more sunshine, laughter, and love filling our lens.

Part 1: The day I married my best friend ❤️ by @apollofields

A moment for our beautiful Nicole 😚 by @apollofields

Golden hour, the river, and the two of them.

Our favorite part of planning is protecting moments like these: a laugh over champagne, a slow walk by the water, a few minutes where nobody needs anything from you.

Elizabeth & Pete, we're still smiling about this one. 🤍

Seven years! Neither one of us has ever been particularly interested in following the rules or doing things the conventional way, and that’s part of what makes us, US. Bryce, I love your adventurous spirit, your spontaneity, your generosity, and your unwavering loyalty to the people you love. I admire your vision and determination, the way you see the bigger picture and have the patience to play the long game. And I’m so grateful that you encourage me to chase my own wild dreams, even when they’re not exactly convenient. You’ve never tried to tame my spicy, free-spirited self, and I wouldn’t dream of taming yours. We’ve created a life that’s uniquely ours, full of adventures, big dreams, a little chaos, and a whole lot of love. I can’t imagine doing this crazy, beautiful life with anyone else. Happy anniversary!! ❤️‍🔥💫 #7yearsoflove by @apollofields
