recently, many asked what it is like living with an incurable condition for the past 9 years. sometimes idk where to begin because it is literally a combination of how my life has evolved 180 that led me to the person I am today. But if I were to narrow it down.. this is my origin story. thankful to everyone who have been part of this journey so far. 🖤

✨ An open letter to celebrate your 9 months earthside ✨

You’ve shown me what it means to never give up, and that even on days when I feel like I don’t have much, I still have enough to pour into you. Thank you for coming out healthy, happy, and full of life. Here’s to the next 9 months 🤍 by @apphia_yanhui

back at where it all started, but this time round celebrating with another batch of graduates. Thank you @prudentialsingapore for inviting me back to inspire the next batch of aspiring FCs. To the graduates, I hope my story fueled you and your journey begins now! The switch wasn’t easy but all of you are filled with zeal to do well for the people around you! You got this 🔥

Jiayou @hui_ting_h_t it was so nice meeting you and to the amazing @leeshalyn ! I will remember our conversations, We got to take a photo next time! 😊

In this solo entrepreneurship journey I never once felt alone, thank you for always having my back @ken_tsj @chitenghan @toh.rongfan 🤜🏻🤛🏻 and to the ones who got more excited than me when I got this opportunity to share @kczjasper @chaower @hojichayk @min.0602 @vvei.en @chan.xinhui 🫶🏻 by @apphia_yanhui

Got put in the hot seat for a short interview about my life as a student advisor, and it was way more fun than I expected. 😅

We covered:
🎯 What I wanted to be at 10 years old
🎯 The time I told a client NOT to buy something
🎯 The last time a client became a friend

Then a rapid fire round: spend or save, the one money rule every Singaporean should follow, the habit that changed my life, and the best (and worst) advice I’ve ever received.

Money conversations don’t have to be scary or awkward. A good adviser is there to help you make decisions you’ll still be happy with years later, even if that sometimes means saying “don’t buy this.”

Watch till the end for the rapid fire, I’m curious if you’d answer the same way. 👇

Drop your own answer to “spend or save?” in the comments. 💬 by @apphia_yanhui

Some days we are fishmongers, most days we are advisors. 🤪 just another day volunteering and doing what fuels us best - doing meaningful work with the right people.

For years, people would ask me how I knew so many interesting people, whether I could make introductions, or whether I could coach or mentor them.

But I run an early-stage startup full-time, and I knew I could not do all of that one-on-one for everyone.

So I started wondering: what if we build a community where generous, curious, high-agency people could learn from one another, support one another, and build real friendships along the way?

Within a year, My Brilliant Self ✨ has become more than I imagined. A close-knit community filled with warmth, ambition, thoughtful conversations, real support, and a whole lotta magic.

Communities aren’t built by content alone, but through trust, consistency, shared values, and people with the right heart choosing to show up again and again.

And I believe, in my heart of hearts, that we are only just getting started.

Sometimes life gets simpler when your heart and mind are clearer.
These are the 3 values I stopped compromising on.
Tell me, what does a simple life look like for you? ❤️

How many things can a women do in 24 hours?

Build a team.
Make impact.
Lead through noise that tells her she shouldn’t.
Run a household that never really clocks off.
Give birth again then repeat.

That’s what stood out to me at Women of Power 2026, hosted by @prestigesg . Different speakers, different industries, same thread running through all of it.

The connections made the day. Old friends I got to catch up with, new ones I’m glad I met!

Till the next time! ✨
