🌿 A lovely little café surrounded by flowers and greenery 🌸

Thank you to @montysfusionscafe in Inglewood for having us and for the warm hospitality! 💛

Located right alongside Mia Flora Nursery, it’s such a pretty spot to sit down, enjoy some good food and take in all the beautiful plants and flowers around you.

🍳 Panko Crumbed Poached Eggs — such a different take on poached eggs! Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked inside, served with roti and a tasty salad. We added a side of bacon too. 🥓

🌭 Eggs Benny with Boerewors — a little South African twist on eggs Benedict, with a spiral of boerewors sausage and a spicy Sriracha Kewpie sauce. Such a yummy combo!

🍊 Orange & Raspberry soufra Cake — we couldn’t leave without something sweet. Served warm, with a crispy outside, custardy centre and a drizzle of raspberry coulis. Definitely a lovely way to finish our meal. 😍

☕️ We also enjoyed a creamy mocha topped with cream and a refreshing glass of orange juice.

⚠️⚠️ One thing to look forward to is that Monty’s will also be opening for dinner starting this week on Friday and Saturday nights. Their little courtyard out the back with fairy lights and all that greenery, would be such a lovely place to enjoy dinner as the evening sets in. ✨ If you’re thinking of heading along, give them a call to book a table on 0403 408 934 📞📞

Thanks again to the Monty’s team for having us. We had such a lovely visit! 🌷

We’d seen the Express Lunch at @themeatandwineco popping up on here, so thought we’d check it out for a weekday lunch 🥩🍷

You can choose 1, 2 or 3 courses and it comes with a house wine or beer — obviously we all went for the 3 courses 😂

We had pork belly, bruschetta, steak cooked perfectly with that gorgeous char-grilled flavour, and crème brûlée & sticky date to finish.

Honestly, SO good! 🤤

It was really busy with all the corporates making the most of the special, and the kitchen was absolutely pumping out the meals. Even with it being so busy, the service was really good and everything came out without a fuss.

Such a good little weekday lunch deal — definitely worth checking out if you’re in the CBD or South Perth!👌 by @april_in_perth

Finally ticked @rustico_hayshedhill off my foodie bucket list! 🍷

After an informative wine tasting, we enjoyed a five-course degustation on the patio overlooking the vines, with reserve wine pairings (I swapped the final Cabernet for the G40 Riesling). Even better, the coach picked us up and dropped us back at our nearby accommodation.

Highlights included:
• Chicken liver parfait & kingfish ceviche
• Tempura prawns & octopus
• Spanish salumi, stracciatella & patatas bravas
• Braised beef cheek & pumpkin arancini
• Basque cheesecake

My favourites were the melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek and the Basque cheesecake, but every course was outstanding. Add the incredible winery views and genuinely friendly service, and it was the perfect long lunch.

We couldn’t resist the $50pp Dine & Dash, available every Thursday in Leederville. It includes three delicious courses across three venues:

🧀 Start with a cheese plate at @powells.leederville 😍😍

🍕 Enjoy your choice of pizza or pasta at @thegardenleederville 🍝

🍨 Finish with a scoop of your favourite flavour at @gelatomessina 🍦

The $50 covers food only, so you’ll need to purchase your own drinks. A little tip: the chardy at Powells is delicious, and The Garden serves Forest Hill Red 🍷

I was seriously impressed by the huge range of flavours at Gelato Messina. I went with the Bounty gelato and it was absolutely delicious! 😋

A fun and affordable way to spend a Thursday night in Leederville.

✨ Bookings can be made through the Powells website. ✨ by @april_in_perth

If you’re looking for the perfect place to unwind in Margaret River, I can’t recommend @edgeluxuryvillas Margaret River enough. 🤍

With just four freestanding villas overlooking a stunning lake, it’s the definition of peace, privacy and seclusion. Waking up to the mist rolling across the water each chilly morning before heading out for a day of wine tasting and long lunches was pure magic.

Our villa had everything we needed, with quality appliances including a coffee machine (complete with local ground coffee), kettle and toaster. They also supplied a selection of local teas, plus beautiful locally made body wash and soap, which was such a lovely touch.

The oversized bath was perfect for a long soak after a day exploring, while the woodfire heater kept the villa incredibly cosy—we actually had to open the door on the first night because it got so warm! 🔥

The owners are absolutely lovely, and you can really tell it’s a family-run business that takes pride in creating a memorable stay.

Take a stroll around the lake, cross the picturesque bridge, or relax on the unique 360° rotating swing and take in the breathtaking views. It’s one of those places where you instantly slow down and forget about the outside world.

Peaceful. Private. Luxurious. Perfection. ✨

We visited @hackersleyestate to try the first release of their new 3-course lunch menu, available for the next couple of months.

We enjoyed the gorgeous vineyard views from the balcony before the heat sent us inside. It’s a lovely intimate venue with around 30 seats.

Our menu featured beef, fish and duck, with generous serves all round. The standout for me was the Rankin cod with fresh snow pea and coconut salad. The duck was cooked perfectly and paired beautifully with a delicious mulled wine sauce and the beef also delicious.

We skipped dessert and headed to the Bunbury Farmers Market for vanilla slice and a few other treats.

A beautiful long lunch with great food, wine and views. 🍇☀️🍷

Stumbled across @pinchosperth . $19.90 Spanish workers lunch special last week and it was such good value 👌🏼

A pintxo, salad, flatbread and a tapas of choice — I went with the crispy pork chicharrones plus a cheeky $6 rosé 🍷

The pork alone is usually $19.50, so definitely worth it. They’ve also got a huge $13 paella pan special out the front on Wednesdays, dine in or takeaway 🥘

Loved this Club Med inspired Bottomless at @thestandardperth ….flowing spritzes, delicious starters and the freshest housemade pasta 🍝✨

Everything was unreal but I absolutely overdid the stracciatella on that amazing bread 😅😅

The Rosa Limonosa spritz was dangerously good, the pork ragu; super tasty and the service was 10/10.

PLUS they do 2 for 1 pasta on Wednesdays!! 😮😮🍝🍝
