Today is the day.

After months of writing, editing, rewriting, self doubt, courage, prayers, and more cups of tea than I can count, 𝓛𝓮𝓽 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓫𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓵𝓮𝓰𝓪𝓬𝔂 is officially out in the world.

This book was born from profound loss, but it is ultimately a book about love. How it shapes us, carries us, and remains long after someone we love is gone.

If these words find the one person who needs them, then every page was worth writing.

To everyone who has encouraged me, prayed for me, preordered a copy, shared a post, or simply believed in me before I believed in myself: 𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾 💕

And to my dad, whose life and love echo through these pages, this one is for you.

Here’s to letting love be our legacy 💕🦋✨

📖 Let Love Be Your Legacy: A Year into the Journey of Grief is available now.

“Our Love”, new poem written yesterday.

In the car, on Boxing Day the minute I closed my eyes to take a little nap…. my mind wandered off and literally crashed into inspiration. Such a remarkable feeling… Relatable♥️?

𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝘼 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙤𝙚𝙢 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨, where I bring some poems from my book, Let Love Be Your Legacy, to life through illustration.

The Breaking is not a straight line. Some days you rise above the waves and other days they swallow you whole. One moment you may find yourself laughing at a memory and the next you’re drowning in tears.

There is no need to fight every wave or make sense of every emotion. Some days you float, some days you drown. So give yourself permission to feel it all.

Let it 🩵✨

Grief must be lived. To truly feel it, to know it.

Allow your journey through grief show you how remarkable your heart is. Such depth, such capacity. How full of light and love you are.

May your grief shine through the cracks 🩵✨🦋

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜.

When compiling 𝓛𝓮𝓽 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓫𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓵𝓮𝓰𝓪𝓬𝔂, my pieces naturally fell into three parts:

✨𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜
✨𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜
✨𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘽𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 is the long stretch of grief where life continues, even when a part of you feels suspended in time. Where you learn to carry the weight of what’s happened, while trying to keep alive what you can no longer hold.

This is one of the hardest things about grief. The world keeps moving, even when you’re struggling to move with it. “𝘼 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙣 𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙”

A little from the Author’s Note 🩵✨🦋

One of my colleagues has been quietly reading 𝓛𝓮𝓽 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓫𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓵𝓮𝓰𝓪𝓬𝔂 and left this beautiful review anonymously in my company’s newsletter. I have absolutely no idea who wrote it. So whoever you are, thank youuu 🙏🏽
