POSTS STORIES REELS

I am incredibly honored to announce that I have been awarded the Design Institute of Australia Fellowship along side the formidable Yasmine Ghoniem and Melanie Mackenzie. This recognition means the world to me, as design is not just my career—it’s a fundamental part of who I am.

Over the years, I have been fortunate to work across various sectors, including hospitality, residential, retail, commercial, medical, and aged care. Each experience has shaped my understanding and passion for design. From designing and teaching to project management, every role has contributed to my growth and love for this industry.

I want to take this moment to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported my journey. Thank you for believing in the power of design and its ability to transform spaces and lives. Here’s to continuing to create and inspire! by @aps_design_

Aperture by APS Build and APS Design, as featured in The Local Project – a project that embodies both refined design and expert craftsmanship.

This transformation was all about precision, from seamlessly integrating luxurious materials to executing a build that honours the integrity of the design. A huge thank you to our team, clients, and collaborators for bringing this vision to life.

DESIGN | We are currently specifying for a beachfront home in Bronte and have been drawn to the refined craftsmanship of the Sedia lounge chair by @dimitri_vargas_

A sculptural balance of function and form, inspired by nature and Renaissance artistry. Perfect for a space where the ever-changing ocean is the backdrop. by @aps_design_

Our latest project, Aperture, embodies the value of restraint in design. In reimagining the main suite, we embraced a concept of openness that challenges conventional Sydney renovations.

By removing walls, we transformed three separate rooms into an expansive retreat that captures our clients’ passion for luxury hotels.

Aperture celebrates the opulence of Art Deco – found in many historic buildings in Potts Point – and the minimalism favoured by premium hotels. This home was crafted to reflect our clients’ passion for art, travel, and elegant living.

Commissioned artworks by #VickiLee beautifully convey the core ideas of Aperture. A diptych above the custom quartzite dining table captures the movement of the harbour, and celebrates the vibrancy of the city scape beyond.

We are thrilled to share that Purple Pit has been awarded joint winner of the 2024 Australian Interior Design Awards: Hospitality Design.

A design collaboration between @latitudegroup @studio.massive @aps_design_ for @mauriceterzini @purplepitbar build by @adept_construction and project management by @aps.build

This subterranean ‘five-star dive bar’ in Melbourne blends punk sensibility with sophisticated comfort. The jury loved this project because it is unapologetic. They applauded all the juxtapositions, the punk sensibility and the return of something very different to the dining and hospitality scene via Australian interior design.

Honoured by the recognition of our team’s vision in creating this unique hospitality space. #AIDA2024 #InteriorDesign by @aps_design_

DESIGN | Reinvigorating an icon: Icebergs Dining Room and Bar.

A thoughtful restoration has breathed new life into this iconic ocean-side dining destination. Crisp whites and light-filled spaces allow the stunning views to remain the hero, while carefully selected design elements add fresh, modern touches.

Custom teal tiles from Tuscany-based @pecchiolifirenze complement the blue hues of the ocean outside the floor-to-ceiling windows. Sleek matte black cabinetry recedes into the background, keeping the focus on the incredible vistas.

The result is a bright, airy space that pays homage to the original while updating it for today’s discerning diners.
