Deadlifts are cool but squats have always been my favourite lift there’s nothing more exhilarating than moving heavy weight on your back I’ll be real. I’ll always respect a heavy squat.

This is the journey to the #1 sleeved Squat in the UK (cross Fed). To me squats is a metaphor for life when something heavy is trying to take you down and crush you, use your faith and overcome.

For all your powerlifting gear checkout using my support link in the bio no joke that’s 28.5kg added to your total 😉 xxx by @aquinnonuoha

First and foremost, I want to thank the Lord Jesus Christ for the strength to get through the first half of the year. Mate, I thought prep was about to be easy until I started seeing double midway through 🤣. Only hubby knows how physically and mentally drained I was, with the dawg in me still wanting to show up at 100!! It was a lot!!! But I’m blessed knowing that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Throughout prep I just kept saying, “The Lord will show up at the right time,” and He did 🌱

I have the best coach, man. I don’t know how AP has managed to get to know me so well loool. Programming, game day handling, and mentorship have all been on point. You are truly a blessing. Thank you for yet another successful meet 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

Thank you to my nutritionist @styrka.performance We’ve only been working together for a hot second, but I’m excited to continue working with you and execute some of the other goals I have in mind. Welcome to the 10-minute voice note lifestyle 🤣🙏🏽

Can’t forget the one and only @reece.cooper . Thank you for always being in my corner, and a massive well done on the new ventures arising. I can’t wait to get involved 🤭🙏🏽👀

Things just hit different with my parents for coming out (not my mum apparently leaving when I was about to take my final squat she couldn’t watch 🤣). And to my true mates, I have to shout out these individuals in particular @george_vasily @manipower_1 @omosharon @redsb1 @reciprocating_biceps and Princess you guys just get me, man. I appreciate you all and you’re always in my prayers ❤️

And to my biggest supporter, coach, chief, and sergeant my hubby. I love you, sweet pea. Thank you for always being my ride or die. What a blessing it truly is to do life with a true friend and confidant.

Shoutout to my sponsor @sbdapparel Y’all are really out here keeping the game going. I appreciate y’all and respect it. Thank you 🙏🏽 TEAM GB thank you for your support and making this a memorable experience!! 🇬🇧🌱

Squats weren’t supposed to take the shine this block, but matching my week 4 deadlift numbers speaks volumes.

Rounding off this block with intention was the goal before we even started, and that’s exactly what we’re doing.

Nice to see my squats still holding up despite me losing some inches on my waist ✨

Decided to join my church’s fast this week which could’ve affected my training but it didn’t. Coming into sessions tired this week whilst moving on limited meals isn’t what would be recommended for the average powerlifter.

But we thank God I ain’t average, AMEN.

Big things coming in week 5 when I’m fully fuelled up 🥰

The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

You know we had to both celebrate and commemorate @aquinnonuoha hard work and achievement to get an invite to @sbdsheffield

Put our own little @battalionbarbell spin on the poster and documenting this one as hopefully we will be back here again one day.

Aquinn, it’s been a pleasure so far, and I hope you continue to trust us with your hard work and your 10 min voice notes to more platforms in the future 🙏🤝🖤

I’m so speechless

I’ve worked so hard this block and probably done the most work ever and still decided to show up at the end of it all

I was so nervous going into this because I knew that fatigue is at an all time high. To get this done I had to remember that i can’t rely on my own strength , I almost met Jesus because that last rep brooo crazy.

@kaigoesgym_ @ashdabizwatson appreciate you guys for the spot it feels like a full circle moment hitting this last year before nationals for a single 🌚💕

@mark_rozay15 love you cutie.
