In between Inside / Outside Have you ever walked through a corridor, but felt endless? As if you are trapped and cannot escape. The more you move the corridors get longer and longer. A psychological maze. I find the most disturbing and the most unsettling regarding through space or architecture or even simpler, just in a construction aspect. Especially, if it is omitted of people. Similar to claustrophobia is unavoidable. Almost feels like a prison. But in reality, and truth being, every architecture is similar, almost, to that feeling, feeling of uncomfortability and imprisonment. When you take your corridor to your bedroom, your walkway down the stairs when you take out your garbage, your bathroom that consists of a cube without windows is unsettling. For instance, a mall, can you have a promenade alone in a mall. An empty wall? Exactly, claustrophobia exists almost in every building. Through a certain degree though. To counter that, I have designed a specific design. Where walls and floors now are not fully connected. by @architecture_advices

Choke Point Chess Have you ever had that awful feeling when everything is going ok for you and you are ahead against your opponent and suddenly you get sniped by a bishop or from a queen? And you start losing the game with that one snipe. To avoid this, not only you need to be ultra-careful but visually is hard to spot this because maybe of the smaller pieces or maybe of the chaotic distribution of the pieces or maybe your eyesight is not designed to see things in the checkerboard. What if this won’t happen? Can we allow it not happen? Make our life much easier? Focus on strategy rather than carelessness? Don’t worry too much because I designed this chessboard. It has 3 choke points pointed in red. A no go zone where players cannot surpass that area like roadblock or wall or river. Players must surpass from another angle then strike or flank in strategic term. Either attack from the middle or the sides. This is common in video rts games. It encourages you to play without having your pieces sniped. You will have a different approach in strategy games especially a game like chess. by @architecture_advices
Eating Pawns when you strike a piece, the losing part gets kicked out of the checker box and sits outside and watches the match till the end and when you reset, the pieces return to their original pinpoint original spots. Like for instance, if a pawn slashes a queen, the queen will be move outside and the pawn will fill its place. But something feels missing, I will forget that this pawn defeated a mighty queen. I will not honor this pawn. How awesome will be the queen remains under the pawn, like it devores it. A literal kill count. When, in wars, I know I am exaggerating, a soldier gets a promotion after winning a certain task, like winning over the enemy, conquering a hill, killing an enemy officer. How much fun will it make if something exists, a kill count, in chess. A dream will never happen unless I show you this. First of all, the components should fit perfectly inside another and hide the parts below it to like it devore it. It vanishes it. So, in order to accomplish that. The piece should be like cones. Because the base piece architecture is round and not square or else it will be a pyramid. The newly designed parts need to replanned all over. Remember when I said that each piece has different function like the rook or the queen. Each element has a specific shape to distinguish it from another one. In chess, we should clearly and visibly know each component. If not, it will be a mess. Each piece has a distinct design. The pawn is a pawn with no specific originality whatsoever to distinguish it. A simple conic shape. The knight has S shapes. The bishop has is top pierced. The queen is elongated with 8 voids on is bottom, and king has cross marks. The pawn is a pawn with no specific originality whatsoever to distinguish it. Let’s see if this design actually works. I will roll simple match. Well, it works. But it shows the idea. A pawn can devore a queen. And so on. by @architecture_advices

Pocket Chess Board 3d printed chess board, small board that can fit your pocket. It is around 12 by 8 cm with a width of 4 cm. But does this board really work? Because the piece are virtually too small. Around less than 1 cm a piece. It will be super easy for the pieces to fall if you accidentally touch them, which you will. And if one piece or multiple pieces fall, this might end the match. That is why I have designed this pockey chess. If you noticed the board has holes for each piece. But not regular holes. Nail like holes. You turn and twist piece inside the hole like a nail. This sticks the piece inside. If you want to remove the stick. You do the opposite turn and the piece is ejected. This makes the pieces unmovable even if you flip the board 180 degree. by @architecture_advices

This 3D-printed cylindrical chessboard lets pieces wrap, changing strategy since bishops and rooks become stronger and checkmate is harder without board edges. The starting army is having with 16 pawns instead of 8, on both sides so that their wont be attacks from behind at the start of the match. by @architecture_advices
