I am grateful to share that I had the opportunity to present my winning GIS-based proposal at the very first edition of @dubaimunicipality ‘s GeoHub Day! It was an incredibly meaningful opportunity to share my ideas, to be heard, and to be part of a space where knowledge, innovation, and community come together. More importantly, it gave me the chance to explore the possibilities that geospatial tools and today’s technologies offer us... not only to better understand our cities, but also to enhance the way we live, embrace our communities, and create meaningful impact Grateful for every opportunity to learn, contribute, innovate, and make an impact. by @areeeeech

Culture is a living system, it exists in the making of things, the sharing of food, the gathering in markets, the transmission of knowledge from one pair of hands to another. When these acts stop, culture ends. You can check out my undergraduate Architectural Thesis at @aud_architecturedepartment on the Behance link in my bio. This thesis includes both an architectural project and a research book. This project was my attempt to stitch back what was broken. Specifically for us, Nubiis. There’s something about getting your hands dirty that makes a project really feel yours. This year at the Sikka Art Fair, I showcased my Urban Furniture design. Instead of going for the precision of 3D printing, I had to go old-school and hand build my model from scratch. I painted some transparent sheets and cut out each panel one by one. It was a messy… but needed…because what better way to understand a design than by building it with your own hands by @areeeeech

Arbor Excited to share than my project has been showcased at this year’s @sikkaplatform ‘s Art and Design Fair and published on @dezeen ! This project is an urban furniture “pod” that explores the invisible geometry hidden inside birds chirps, a bridge between the human and animal world. It was fully modeled on @gravitysketch VR with the graph visualized on @touchdesigner Very special thanks to Dr. @georgeskachaamy for this opportunity and support through this process by @areeeeech

irgari /ir-gah-ri/ verb to revive or revitalize (something that is inactive, disused, or forgotten). Super duper excited to finally share my B’Arch Thesis book that ive been working on for the last few months. This book is dedicated to all communities that have experienced displacement, due to natural or man-made causes. My goal is to revive the Nuba that has been forgotten post-displacement. Not to reconstruct the past. Not to assume the future. But to bridge between the two without disrupting either. The cover page is a touch-sensitive material that reveals the artwork behind it when interacted with. It symbolizes the fragmentation of the Nubian community, and no matter how many hands you get, you will never get the full picture... I added some of the many timelapses of making the bookcover, many of which have failed but failure is only a chance to learn. Huuuuuuuuge thanks to my professor and supervisor @nicolasturchi for helping me in this journey. Super excited to see what’s to be cooked for next semester (hopefully not me...) by @areeeeech
