🇺🇸 𝙍𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙏 𝘿𝙄𝙎𝙆 was born as a personal project that combines retro synthesizers and cinematic atmospheres inspired by the 80s and all its audiovisual culture, with an emotional and narrative approach that seeks to connect with listeners of both the genre and new audiences. Each track is conceived as a small sonic journey, with influences ranging from John Carpenter, Vangelis, and Kavinsky, to the most current producers on the scene.
.
🌇"Midi Boy" is a tribute to synthesizers as a central instrument of 80s music and which one day became iconic pieces of music, just like the first sampler, the Fairlight CMI.
.
🎹 Fun fact: The track includes a small vocal sample from an unreleased song by a very famous robotic duo.

🇺🇸 𝗖𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘, although born in New Zealand and consolidated in Australia, made their mark in the 80s with a sound somewhere between melodic pop-rock and a sensibility that connects with retro nostalgia. Their hit "Don't Dream It's Over" (1986) became a generational anthem, with that ethereal air that fits perfectly with the synthwave aesthetic. Neil Finn's voice and his emotionally charged lyrics gave them a unique seal at the time.
🌇A curious fact: the song was so influential that even in the 90s it was covered by artists from very different genres, demonstrating the universality of their sound.
